Arrgh. WTF. I just got the 2tb version last week for the same price!

Good price or would it be better to wait until Black Friday?

yeah, I just ordered this same HD minus the enclosure 2 days ago for the exact same price. I questioned getting this for a little more, but figured I didn't need to spend any more just to get the enclosure since I was going to put the HD in my pc.

I've noticed that when the price is already shown as $20 off (159.99 to 139.99) and they mention the $20 off promo code, the code has already been applied. Has anyone ordered this and paid 119.95?

@dgk: Yes they are $119.99 the additional $20 off will be applied after entering code. You can see it after applying code here

You could always buy this one and return the 2TB.

Thanks for the deal! Just picked one up! Great drive to back up my NAS.

I recently bought a WD 3TB one for the same price. Maybe a sign HDD prices are coming down again after the flood?

Does anybody have experience using these with Linux? Ubuntu 10.04 specifically. I've read about these drives sometimes having issues with Linux due to auto-sleep features that are software controlled instead of hardware/firmware controlled. I would be using this primary as a scheduled backup drive.
