I was in for 3 until I realized they didn't combine shipping. I don't think it costs over $7 to ship 3 pair of ear buds.
@quicksears: Indeed. They all go in the same box and weigh only ounces. Tanga does this in a different fashion. They get everything shipped from the manufacturer in separate boxes and its a crap shoot between USPS and a Commercial Carrier. So inflated shipping for each item you purchase never having the option to use a carrier that is reputable in your area.
My ear buds tend to get gunky, lost, or wear out from the daily commute. I usually won't spend more than $5 on a pair of headphones, unless they are for the home or office. However, these pairs usually last forever.
Why don't manufacturers use the 90 degree plugs anymore?
I'm soooo looking for some good ear buds. Bought 5 pairs of Koss ear buds perhaps a year ago, one of my first Woot purchases. BEST ear buds I've ever had. One of the features I really would like on a decent pair of ear buds is the ability to adjust the volume.
Still looking. Shame, though, that this offer is ripping us off on freight. That just gets my goat, and I won't do it just because of the principle. AND that there is lots of waist of packaging, etc. Charge me more for the product instead of ripping me off on the shipping - for some reason that is more palatable.
Best price on Amazon is $12.90 shipped. Maybe it's best to consider this deal $8.48 each shipped instead of complaining that you are getting a great deal on the price but getting stiffed on the shipping charges.

@cwarriorx: appreciate that info - I'd prefer my Koss ear buds to these anyway. But as some of us have said, I'm still not pleased with the shipping rip-off. If I wanted these ear buds, I might bite,but I'd still b*tch about it, if only to myself. Like I said, it isn't just the $, but the waste of packaging, traceability, etc.
Dont have any comments about the company or their shipping costs. But I do own a pair of these ear buds, and I will say that they are definitely excellent bang-for-your-buck. I like them much much better than a pair of Skull Candy buds I had previously. Sound good, stay in place. I dont use the phone feature, so I cant comment about that.

very good headphones, I got them from woot a while back. the audio quality is great for the price, you can actually hear sounds at the lower frequencies and music sounds full. The mic seems to be hit or miss, possibly depending on something as small as orientation (perhaps I am doing something wrong?). I have used it fine on some occasions, and on other occasions apparently I sound very low and hard to hear. Both times using the same set, so I have no clue, I think this is probably common to all in line mics.
Although for that shipping ripoff, hardly seems worth it from this site. I'll wait for woot or somewhere better to get them.

I am just pointing out that the price + shipping is still 1/3 less than the next best price. If the price on these was $8.50 each with free shipping I don't believe there would be any issue with this deal. While building the shipping into the price would make this deal seem more attractive on the surface, I would argue that doing so would be the more deceptive practice. Either way, if you look at the deal as a whole, you are getting a great price.

I hope everyone understands that "noise isolating" doesn't mean "noise cancelling"
All ear bugs are noise isolating as they plug your ears and limit outside sound because of it.
Personally, my best experience with ear buds was actually Philips active noise cancelling ones- they are truly amazing sound quality. SkullCandy etc are all just marketing companies with lousy junk that people buy because the marketing is good.
In for one. Not going to cry over 8.50 for some nice buds.
Not this model, but I have a pair Altec Lansings with the same 1/8" jack. I baby'd them and within 6 months one of the channels shorted out. Not saying it will happen on these, but I was not impressed.
