Actually, the deal at DELL is $169.00 with free 3-5 day ground shipping. Even better!

Cheap 6 bit TN panel. 160 degree viewing angles, poor color reproduction. It's okay if you're not picky, but this is not the best panel. It's not a BAD deal, but not exactly special either.

@pyromosh: What, you want special AND cheap? You show me something special and cheap, post it as a deal please. I'd like to see it.

I got a 24" version of this Its a great monitor for the price The only thing I don't like about it is you can adjust the height You can only tilt it up and down

I've got the last version of this monitor (sans hdmi) and it looks very good for a TN panel. Certainly not great for media or if you do graphics, but I primarily use it for surfing/coding/reading and it works. I sometimes game with it and it works very well in that capacity. It's hella bright but compared to my other Super IPS panel the colors are quite washed.

Exactly what I was looking for! I almost bought the 24'' for $199

Snapped one of these up. Worked on one at a buddy's office and they are pretty top notch. The display is slightly warmer in tone than my vaio, but all in all awesome quality. Been shopping for a 1920x1080 display for weeks and finding one that was under 200 and not made out of cardboard and string is nigh on impossible. Get these while they last.

As far as I can tell, this is lacking VESA mounting capabilities. Is that correct?

Glad I saw this deal. Went with the 24" for $30 more, though. While it's a TN panel, TNs typically have faster response time for gaming and video. Since I'm sitting directly in front of it while on my computer, I'm not as concerned about the viewing angle specs. I also splurged for a decent stand that allows vertical movement and rotation. Can't wait to sit it up next to my existing 22"!

gotta helluva deal on a 24 incher 1.5 yrs ago. Dell's website had for $204 ...no (mod edit: profanity)!! It has worked very well.
