USB power source severely limits this item. :^(

This would anyway be useless with your mobile-phone/mp3 player since those outputs are already amplified. You'd need the correct cable for use with an i-Device.

I wish the Fiio E7 got offered at this price :(

Between the volumes on my media player software, Windows, my sound card and teh amp on my speakers, I can get things loud enough that teh headphones distort.

Yeah, it's overpower distortion too, not 'sweet baby Jeebus, you've got too much system distortion,' type distortion.
