I think I own every YDKJ game. If you like your game show host sarcastic, this is definitely a game for you.

For those of you who care about this sort of thing, you can get the install key that Amazon gives you for this game, and redeem it on Steam.

What a blast from the past. I loved this game as a kid. Will definitely get this.

Three bucks? Redeemable on Steam, where it costs $20 at the moment?

...why are you not already there and buying this?! YDKJ is definitely an awesome way to pass a half-hour, and tends to entirely take over a party when it gets brought out, until it starts repeating. But at five gigs, I get the feeling that may not happen too quickly at all.

Awesome Game! have you bought it ?

Such a great game!! I have versions of it on 3.5" floppies from the 90s, so it's time to upgrade...

vote-for1vote-against

It's not listed that it is Windows8 compatible. Anyone try it yet?

vote-for1vote-against

Absolutely awesome deal!! As other users have said, buy on Amazon, get your key, redeem on Steam, and there you go! Thank you for this Community Woot! deal.

vote-for3vote-against

It's also free on iOS/Facebook!

Warning: The PC version is not that great. I guess for this cheap you can't go wrong, but this version does not have 3 player multiplayer. I paid full price and felt a bit ripped off.

What is STEAM and why do I have to join it to play the game? I downloaded the game from Amazon and there is no file on my computer named YOU DON'T KNOW JACK.
I prefer not to join a group to play the game. I can go to GameStop and BUY the game and play it at my leisure..........joe

OMGOMGOMGOMG I used to LOVE this game!!!! $3.00 just for the nostalgia factor alone of opening the laptop in front of old friends and saying "Look what I FOUND!!" is more than worth it! BTW - says on Amazon that once it's downloaded you do not need to be online to play, which is a huge plus for me here in the mountains with VERY limited WiFi access unless I'm actually in my home. GOOD TIMES....GOOD TIMES......

@joeseadog: Steam is the downloading service used to deliver this and many other PC games.

I wasn't aware this was still around...used to do support for the original game. Ugh! Those clueless NT4 users complaining that software wasn't written for their OS that they didn't need to be running in the first place!

@talesin: Assuming it's the same as the 360/PS3 versions, the base game has 71 "episodes" which are each a particular set of questions, so it will only repeat if you replay an episode. I thought that was a good way to keep repeats from happening.

I got the game at $20 for 360, and I've only brought it out a few times and completed maybe a third of the episodes, and I thought that was still worth it, so this is a heck of a deal at $3.

If you're not going to play it all the time, you can just play it on Facebook for free. You get 1 free game per day.

The only difference between the PC version and the PS3/360 version is that the PC version only has local multiplayer (2-player) and does not support online multiplayer as well as not having the DLC that the other versions have to offer. That being said, the game is definitely a steal at $3 and you will definitely love it.

Its time for a... SNICKER-GLITCH TEST-GUM!

@kentobi: Glad to see another remorseful buyer (well, not glad, but you know what I mean). I bought it at full price when it was released to play with friends during our small weekend LAN gatherings, and immediately exited the game upon realizing they stripped out 3-player local multiplayer. The developer's argument is that you can't fit 3 people around a computer these days, especially since we're all obese.

@bhelmreich: One of the reviewers on Amazon says he's running it on Windows 8 with no compatibility issues.

I have the wii version already, is this going to have different questions?

vote-for1vote-against

The Facebook version is pretty good as well.

@bhelmreich: I have Windows 8 Pro 64-bit, and this game runs perfectly. Thanks to the OP for posting this.
