@aeson25: Hi!

Yep, it includes the fly (sorry, just not pictured here) and also a footprint. Everything you need to get out there.
The description calls out the fly materials "Fly is 75D Poly Taffeta 1500mmPU F/R"

Hope that helps!

Big Agnes makes really good tents. I've got the Seedhouse 3, which has only one door and the composite poles. I think mine might be a little lighter than this. I'm extremely happy with it.

This is a great deal on this tent. If this deal had been around when I bought my Seedhouse, I probably would have gone with this one. The footprint is usually another $30, making this quite a bargain.

Got nothing but good things to say about Big Agnes. Everything they design just makes a lot of sense and emphasizes good packing and lightweight materials without giving up comfort.

Everything just works together - my big agnes sleeping pad fits directly into the big agnes sleeping bag (which has a slot for the sleeping pad, so it doesn't slip out from under you). Both together weigh at most 3 lbs. Combined with my Emerald SL3 which weighs around 5lbs (and sleeps 3!) I'm a happy happy camper.

Yu guys are suspiciously happy with them. they/re that good?

But expensive. What makes them better than those tents you can get at Target?

You get what you pay for. If you want a tent that might last through one season and don't mind sleeping in a puddle, get a department store tent. A rainfly with a decent size vestibule for stashing stuff you don't want to sleep on is really useful. The footprints are commonly sold separately and will run you $30-$50. It's fitted for this tent, will keep the the tent bottom cleaner and protect it from stuff that will damage the floor so it will last even longer. All that said, this is a good price for a three person tent from a good manufacturer. Good luck finding a lifetime warranty at you local big box. Free shipping, no tax and delivered to your door? - you are ahead by $15 and another hour of your time. Happy Trails.

Wow this is a really good deal, Big Agnes makes great equipment... Ive never had a tent from them but their other gear is solid. If this had been around when i got my tent i totally would have gotten this, I spent $300 on a 2 person lightweight tent. Oh well, saved the weight at least!

I too can testify to the quality of Big Agnes gear. Their sleeping bags and pads are some of the best on the market. I have two friends who were sponsored by BA for thru-hikes of the PCT. That's 2650+ miles of particularly abusive hiking. Not only was the gear lightweight enough to make the trek, it withstood the months of continual use. There are other fantastic gear brands but everyone is price comparable and the gear is worth it. Read some reviews on gearx.com and backcountry.com. However, this is an entirely different class of tent than you will get at Target. It's overkill for car and cooler camping.

Probably MountainPlus are honest sellers but it's difficult to compete with price. This deal is ok but not awesome.

You can find it a bit cheaper in the following link, and if you are not in a hurry, you'll may find cheaper in january (from the link, it shows that it was cheaper in november)

Big Agnes gear is wonderful stuff - the sleeping bags are first rate and fit those of us with big shoulders and my Seedhouse tent rocks.

@fragatina: Hmmmm, doesn't look like it's still available.

@richardhod: Target tents are fine for a season or two of car camping, mainly because they are heavy and bulky If you don't plan to be hiking far to your campsite, then it doesn't really make sense for you to spend too much for a super lightweight.

This is a good deal, and big agnes makes good gear. In for one, thanks for the link!

@fragatina: Hi!

The tent shown in the link is actually a 2008 version. The Sunnyside tents we are selling were specifically made for us by Big Agnes (at our request) and are a 2010 version. You will not find this tent anywhere else online.

Hope that helps!
