I own this model and would not recommend it. The range is nowhere near the advertised 2000ft. Sound clarity is very scratchy if there is any ambient noise like a fan in the baby's room.

But really the biggest deal breaker for this models is that the parent units will randomly loose sync with monitor unit on a regular basis and you'll have to power on/off both units to get it working again. The frequency of that problem will increase over time. I do not believe I simply got a lemon either as this is commonly reported in reviews of this model.
