I just purchased this deal. The GameFly downloadable client will provide you with a Steam activation code by clicking "get product activation keys". Result: Portal 2 is playable through my Steam account!

I have a Mac, it says PC PC PC everywhere... but the title here says PC/Mac... what's the scoop?

@danturk:If it gives you a steam key, it'll work for both. I've played from my steam account on both platforms

When Woot gives you lemons, don't make lemonade - make Woot take the lemons back! Get mad! Demand to see Woot's manager!!

I shall demand to... well, download it digitally and then get a steam key. No mismanager needed!

Success! Thanks, fellow wootians.

Such a great game. My kids got it for me for Christmas and I finally got around to playing it a few months back. Yes, it is short, but it's packed with fun. I laughed half the time, and that's saying a lot considering I've watched dozens of videos about it.

It's very player-friendly (as the commentary you can unlock explains) and will have you stretching your brain to find the answers.

I wish a good deal would pop up for Portal 2 on Xbox. I just don't have a computer worth running it on these days.

great find, i have been wanting to buy this forever, but only wanted to pay $20, so this is way better!

Baaa. Just bought a second copy of this last week, so my son and I could play the co-op levels. I paid $20.

The new (beta) Gamefly Client, which needs to be installed in order to download the same, supports only PC games at this time, even though the game's title image specifies Mac. Unfortunately, I found this out after a 90 minute download. I contacted customer support for help; I'll see what they say tomorrow. Ugh....

I have downloaded the GameFly client but I do not see where to click to get product activation keys so I can play it on my Steam account. Can some one tell me where to find the link to get the activation key? Thanks.

@iwolf81: I had the same problem, however I figured out a way to fix it. The product code that comes with your download in GameFly also works for Steam. Therefore, all that you have to do is create an account at steam.steampowered.com, and download and install the Steam application at http://store.steampowered.com/about/

From there, you will go into your game library in the application. At the bottom of the application, click on the button "Add A Game." It will bring you through a couple of pages (Info, I Agree, etc.) and finally to a page where you have to enter the product key. Go into GameFly to your MyCollection and click on the Quickview and then "Get Product Activation Keys". Copy that activation key and paste it into the Steam application, hit next and finish out the remaining steps, and you will soon have a $6.79 copy of Portal 2 for Mac

DISCLAIMER: My copy is still downloading, but I am still fairly sure it will work. GameFly doesn't support Mac yet; Steam does.

@pklaene: I just posted a long reply to @iwolf81 That should answer your question.

This is a good deal. BUT heres reason why it's not. it's 19.99 new. Steam is about to release their SUMMER sale where crap load of games is for sale. and you know every big sale vavle games is ALL ways up Hitting 75-80% off. So ya you can save a buck if you wanna wait about 2 more weeks

@trswen05 - Your install solution is working; I'm at 35% downloaded. Thanks!!!
@joevsyou - Two weeks is like an eternity for my 12 year old who just started summer vacation and has been strongly hinting for this game all year. :-)

Does the steam version support 3-D stereoview on either PC or Mac?

@joevsyou: Thanks for the heads up a lot of these people didn't appreciate it
