@pupster: not everyone has Amazon Prime. They should but they don't.

@k87: It'd be the same price for anyone - it's not a free-for-Prime video. Also, this sale is only for in store, which kind of makes finding it here pointless.

@shayd19: I agree. From the FAQ:

What is a deal?
For our purposes here, a "deal" is an offer available online from a reputable retailer at a lower price than usual.

In store only = not a deal

vote-for4vote-against

@lichme: I agree and disagree. While yes you have to go to the store to pick it up, it doesn't discredit it as a deal. The movie is from a reputable retailer at a lower than usual price. Many deals such as certain coupon codes have to be redeemed in store--example would be the BOGO Starbucks deal that was posted a few days ago. I suppose I don't see the need to split hairs, if people like the deal, they can go and pick it up, if not, they won't and the world keeps spinning :).

@shayd19: I am kind of torn between renting vs buying. Some movies I kind of want to keep...

Wiiiiiiilllllssssooooooooonnnn

@studerc: I would agree with you if I had the option to buy it online, then pick it up in store. Some stores, like Walmart, do not honor their online prices.

@k87: I'd buy it. It's a pretty great movie. I probably would've bought it, but for that whole in-store problem. Hard to hit the Target when there isn't one around.

vote-for1vote-against

@shayd19: Many stores do price match if they are from reputable retailers. Just a thought if you don't have a Target in your area but are still interested in picking it up.

@studerc: Oh, I'll probably just pass for now, 'cause that's the easiest, haha! But thanks for the idea!

Watched this on tv last night, love this movie!

@shayd19 @lichme
And for others who would like to order it online.
I posted a deal the same day same movie for only $6.50 + 96 cent ship
I hope this helps you out.

For some reason folks complained here about available in store only, but still voted it up. Mine got few votes.
I guess most would rather save 46cents and drive to Target AND hope their Target had it in stock.
Cheers.

@ceagee: it appears the "Deals" community might be a bit more fickle, even unpredictable/wild than the regular Woot sales.

Not sure why other than perhaps the anonymous up/down voting makes some folks get a bit wonky.

Watch the up/down votes on this comment.

@ceagee: Honestly, I was quite perplexed why my deal went popular while your deal did not. A lot of it I feel, comes down to timing. Sometimes when I go through the older fresh deals I am blown away how some deals don't go popular, while others do.
