The first 3 items I click on are out of stock...what the...?!

...and it has been here for 4 minutes. Next time I check before voting.

If you are looking for SD cards, go to Amazon. The 32gb ultra micro sd they sale at $89.99 and Amazon price around $30.

vote-for12vote-against

Great products, but pretty spartan these days. I still have my first-gen Fuze, outlasted an iPod touch and the headphone port on my Atrix 4g.

vote-for3vote-against

@enchelion: does the Fuze have a micro sd slot, and if so, what size will it take? Thanks.

vote-for14vote-against

@enchelion: The Fuze is probably the best mp3 player I've had since my Karma Rio.

@speedoo: Yes. I want to say 32G max, but I'm even lazier than you about googling the specs.

vote-for10vote-against

@speedoo: I have the Fuze 8Gb and I have added a 2 Gb micro SD. I do not think it will take the SDHC, but have not tried it to be certain. I went ahead and tried a 16Gb microSD, it seems to read from it just fine but I had almost no files on the card to check in depth. However, it looks like it will read SDHC. I have been using my Fuze for 4 years now and have a few of the older e250 and they still truck right along. Not a bad mp3 player, I almost bought another from this link, but would want to grab another 8Gb which I do not see. My experience with Sansa players has been great, but so many phones and other devices could move to replace them for most people. I bike and walk a lot, so get good use of mine. Hope that helps.

vote-for3vote-against

@urocyon: not really lazy, I did try googling the specs, got conflicting info, so I thought I'd ask an actual user. So thanks for the info (no snark!)

oh man, the clip on my clip+ broke then I accidentally dropped it in a cup of water. It still works, but now I have an excuse to buy a new one.

vote-for8vote-against

I, too, just love my Sansas. I have a couple Fuzes & clips. They are all at least two years old, but they just keep going, so I haven't needed to "upgrade." I think this sale at the Sansa store is still a little more expensive that what I paid on woot for mine, like $40 for an 8 gig. But I haven't seen woot offer a Sansa in a while.

vote-for3vote-against

I am a little freaked out the regular simple Sansa Clips DO NOT list an expansion slot. Which is their true selling point to me.

FYI their recorder on the Clip is not bad.Surprised!

vote-for4vote-against

oh thank goodness....
my 3 yr old fuze has been kind of on its last legs and i've been looking for a replacement that doesn't set me back over $70... mine still works great (all buttons and functions still work and battery life still lasts forever), except the casing has taken such a beating that i have to use a binder clip to apply the right amount of pressure to get a good audio connection and the power button has worn down enough to be kind of a hassle sometimes.

vote-for3vote-against

The black Fuze went out of stock as I hit the ORDER button. Had to buy the red one, dangit.

vote-for2vote-against

Didn't think it was that great of a deal.. Rather take the 128GB Stick on tech Woot right now!

vote-for4vote-against

Ugh. Woot, Y U NO POST WHEN I TELL YOU TO POST?

Anyway... This is not that great a deal on the flash memory. You can routinely find branded 16GB class 4/6/8/10 cards for the same $14.99 they want for a Class 2 8GB MicroSD card before shipping because shipping's only fre e on order over $50.

Heck, I got a 32GB Class 4 SanDisk MicroSD card, with adapter, for $20 including shipping a couple months ago.

vote-for4vote-against

@speedoo: Told you I was even lazier--I didn't even bother! :D

@markmc27: The original Clips didn't; it's the Clip+ that takes MicroSD expansion. You can tell them apart visually by the round control interface (original Clip, if I remember right) or squarish (Clip+, again, if I remember right). The build quality on the Clips isn't nearly as nice as the Fuze. Also, KEEP YOUR RECEIPT! I've gone through Clips like candy to find a reliable one. OK, slight exaggeration, but they do seem to be a bit lacking in QC. But if you get one that works, they sound great. Clips and Fuzes have, I believe, the same DA conversion, and it's been rated as better than anything else in the price range, including iPods. I think it was only an iRiver--forget which model--which rivelled/bested Sansa for sound quality. Get an awesome set of headphones and revel in their sonic glory.

Remember the old days when Woot had Sansa players almost as often as they have Dysons now.....them was the daze !

vote-for1vote-against

@garygary52: What he said. Amazon always has the best prices or damned close to them with the exception of some woot! items. This "sale" from Sandisk is ridiculous because I've checked quite a few items and the "sale price" on SanDisk's website is the retail price on amazon (NOT the final price, the price BEFORE the amazon "you pay" discount). The "retail" price on the SanDisk website is what the initial retail price was when those products first came out. Shady sale, don't buy IMO.

vote-for3vote-against

Seriously overpriced stuff - I bought a 16 GB Sandisk MicroSD card at Costco last week for $15 - this "sale" site has the same card for $54.

No deals here, move along.

vote-for2vote-against

@morriea: I got an email at 3:00 PM from Sandisk on this sale, so maybe that's why some things sold out early?

They have 5 of the e-260's left. Wanted another e-280 but might have to get this one. For a present-love mine!!

vote-for2vote-against

@durkzilla: yet the up votes continue. Sold out clips and overpriced memory.

vote-for3vote-against

I love my Clips, although earlier Sansa recorders were very buggy.

But this Sandisk store is a disappointment. Prices are higher than when the same items sold directly on Woot. The SD prices are especially high. Menh. I think I'll retract my upvote. :-(

vote-for2vote-against

I tried to order two of either Clip(s). These are both out of stock! I love the Sansa Clips but Sansa's order page leaves a lot to be desired

ohhh they have colours I don't have.. Must resist. I have more than enough Sansa's and they are all working perfectly!!!!!

vote-for6vote-against

Three years and my clip has been going strong with daily trips to the gym. Countless drops, couple times submerged under water by accident, stepped on, and the only thing that ever went wrong is the battery wire snapped. A quick solder later and its still going strong. Best MP3 player I've ever owned, and I'm grabbing another right now

vote-for2vote-against

@nicktaurasaur: "The black Fuze went out of stock as I hit the ORDER button. Had to buy the red one, dangit."

I hate to tell you now that you're stuck with the red one, but the black is back in stock.

vote-for2vote-against

Almost bought an e260, before I remembered that's almost twice what I paid for one from woot years ago, when 4 gigs was a lot of space. My nostalgia's not kicking quite that hard.

Edit to say that the E-series were nonetheless fantastic MP3 players, ones that can take 27,500 lickings (and counting) and keep ticking. The battery on my old one still holds 7-8hr charge, after all this time, and it still does everything it did when it was new to me. I lost the backplate some time ago, was hoping this deal would allow me to start carrying one around regularly again. Alas.

vote-for1vote-against

[waveshand]Theses are not the prices you were hoping for...[/waveshand]

vote-for2vote-against

I own a couple of e250's and the Fuze. I love them especially for jogging or walking around.

vote-for3vote-against

@cleverett: Yeah, there's no cancel option. At least I'll never lose the thing.

vote-for3vote-against

I wish my dang ear buds would last as long as my Sansas.. just killed 2 more pair this afternoon.. argh... ( and I am not using the earbuds that come with the Sansa's. - they don't fit my ears ).

vote-for3vote-against

I love my Sansa devices, but these "outlet" prices aren't that good.

You can get most of these items for this price or less everyday.

vote-for2vote-against

@skoffer: where can you buy a new Fuse for $46 shipped every day?

vote-for1vote-against

@nicktaurasaur: Red is the new black.

@tatterbits: Ear buds are for casuals. Get a set of Grados.

vote-for1vote-against

These prices are terrible. 16GB SDHC Class 10 should cost no more than $12

vote-for1vote-against

I chose items that are listed as in stock, processed through, and - "Payment authorization failed" FIVE TIMES. Both with credit card AND paypal. Fine, DON'T take my money!

vote-for2vote-against

@speedoo: You are right. Apparently, you no longer can. The 8GB Sansa Fuzes with the turning wheel used to be sold for 29.99 regularly on deals websites, like woot and 1saleaday.

Apparently, they are considered rare now, or something, because I can't find them for less than $60 anywhere.

Interesting that I bought 2 of them at 2 different times for $29.99 a few years ago.

My post above was wrong.
