Use coupon code FALL30 instead for 30% off instead of the 25% off code given

vote-for4vote-against

@bigtony4284 that FALL30 code requires that you buy with a Kohls charge card

vote-for4vote-against

I would suggest using the 25% off coupon code. Otherwise, you may not be eligible for the $20 rebate (it says purchase must be $199 or more, but it's not clear if that is before or after tax. The 30% off coupon lowers the mixer's price below that price point. You would also lose out on $10 of Kohl's cash, since that is calculated before tax and shipping.

Also, for those of you with Discover cards, if you enter the Kohl's website through ShopDiscover, you can earn 5% cash back, or basically another $10 off!

how on earth you can receive " $40 to spend on future purchase " when rebate is only $20 ?????????? u guys must be reaaaally good at math!!!!!!

vote-for1vote-against

I love the thought, but $40 Kohl's Cash is not the same as $40 off the product.

vote-for3vote-against

@liying53: It's a $20 rebate, AND $40 Kohl's cash.

I'm actually in the market for a new mixer, but 1) I want a red one (picky, I know), and 2) I was hoping to find a Professional model. Pretty good deal though if you shop regularly at Kohl's.

where did that mention the "$40 cash " on kohl's website ??????????

vote-for0vote-against

@kittnen: what " $40 kohl's cash" ??? nowhere on the kohl's website ever mention any cash by email other than the rebate!!!!!!!!!

vote-for3vote-against

@liying53: You're getting very worked up over a kitchen appliance.

vote-for3vote-against

Via Kohls: Spend $200 - $40 Kohl's Cash coupon

vote-for0vote-against

@kittnen: do i need to be a cardholder of " kohl's charge account" ???? , i still could not find any info on the $40 cash coupon that you referred to , but thanks for your reply ( at least i know someone care about these question).

vote-for1vote-against

@liying53: It's not that I didn't care, it's just that I posted every bit of information I had, along with the links I thought others could use if they wanted to know more.

@kittnen: Thanks for posting answers to @liying53's questions. I've been out all day and just saw this chain of comments. I appreciate your efforts in responding to the questions.

The sales price is now $229.99 instead. Got in at $269.99 earlier today. Requested for price adjustment.

I have this mixer, and it's my first stand mixer. It's awesome, but if I was going to do it over again, I'd buy a larger capacity mixer. I tend to mix/cook in larger batches than this mixer can handle.

I have a 4.5 qt Ultra Power, which is the same as this one but with a higher power motor. And it's cobalt blue.

I am not going to replace it any time soon, but I agree that it is just a bit too small for a double batch of cookies or two loaves of bread. Even 5 quarts would probably be big enough.

But that's not enough to keep me from using mine or want to replace it. It's good enough.

How do I get the Kohls cash? I bought this on 9/19 and am still waiting...

vote-for-1vote-against

This is a scam who wants $40 Kohls cash, and how is that really applied to the discount? They can't count a future savings as one off of this item, such a scam.... Kohls sucks anyway!

vote-for2vote-against

@wthiers: This is NOT a scam. I posted the deal and noted that the $40 in Kohl's cash was part of the deal. If you choose not to view it that way it does not mean that anybody tried to scam you. Personally, I like Kohl's and I like having Kohl's cash so, to me, it IS a deal. If you don't like the way I posted it, I suggest that you suggest an alternative way to do so, instead.

vote-for1vote-against

So...Ummmm...How do I get the Kohls cash?

vote-for3vote-against

@wthiers This is NOT a scam. The deal is exactly as it is represented. Just because you don't like the details of the deal does not make it a scam. A scam would be if you were to receive something other than what was represented. Grow up.

Ok, back to our program...

I own this mixer, in its red version, and absolutely love it. I use it primarily for mixing heavy yeast leavened bread dough, which is notoriously hard on a mixer. This mixer has plenty of power for that purpose, which makes it good enough for me. If you are in the market for a very nice heavy duty mixer, I can highly recommend this one.

vote-for1vote-against

@liying53: It's &20 off with the rebate, and ON TOP of that you get $10 back for every $50 spent, which is $40 total.
