Since there's no titanium in 316 steel, I'm guessing that this statement means that the gold coloring is probably titanium nitride. I doubt that this is an authorized item, but then it is far cheaper than the one I got from WB. In for 'one ring' then I can leave the other on its chain in the presentation box...
