The site shows $358. Am I missing something, or was there a typo in the title?

Anyway, if you don't mind an older Mac, are looking to learn Mac OS X on the cheap, or give the kids a relatively safe machine to play with, $358 for this is pretty good. ($458 is not; you can get the Core 2 Duo version for $464 at MacResource.)

Do keep in mind that Snow Leopard (10.6) was the last version of OS X that'll officially run on this. This won't be an issue right away, but Apple is notorious for forced marches, so don't be surprised when you start seeing most software requiring Lion (10.7) in the near future, just as they killed previous versions.

These can be upgraded to their maximum 2GB RAM for cheap ($35.99 at Other World Computing), and I'd recommend anyone getting one do so. Also, the CPU on this machine is socketed, though upgrading this is not for the faint of heart. It WILL let you run Lion, but if that's your plan, it'd be cheaper and easier to just get a Core 2 Duo model.
