You should read the reviews. Doesn't support DLNA, so you can't stream from your computers (google TV can and my hacked AppleTV also can).

I have the 2XD and really enjoy it, but wish I'd have sprung the extra $20 for the XS because that comes with the gaming remote. You can't play any of the games (angry birds, etc.) without the gaming remote, and they want an outrageous amount for it on the roku site. I'm hoping Woot can come up with a decent deal on the remote! I don't understand about things like DLNA, so I guess if you're that tech savvy maybe roku isn't for you. I get only basic cable, and with the roku I can have many more choices - often free. I'm not sure about the difference between the roku 2XD and the roku LT. Maybe the LT is all you need, and it is cheaper.

Can't speak to Roku 2, but I sprang for the last Roku on Woot Proper for $50. Fantastic device, stream looks fantastic even with slow internet (I have slowest possible, $20 cable internet and the router is a few rooms away, and it still streams nicely).

A few downsides in Roku 1 (again, maybe Roku 2 is better): loading times, particularly initial startup, are pretty frustratingly long.

Also, looks like HuluPlus on Roku doesn't have 30 Rock. What gives?!

I tried Hulu Plus and can say that I wasn't too impressed with their setup. Netflix is great, Pandora is great and other than that everything else is not too impressive. I have used Amazon VOD, which is good, but expensive, I did that instead of springing for the extra $8.00 on Netflix for the DVD rentals, I'm still trying to figure out which is the better deal.

Any suggestions on other ROKU channels that are worth checking out?

@dupedyetagain: 30 Rock is one of the best comedies out there.

@sanderclan: Crackle is... "OK". Unedited movies, but they have commercials. In really annoying places (like midsentance there'll be a commercial, then the movie starts again and actor finishes the sentance?!). Oh, and the commercials cut off before the end too - IDK I just think it's annoying, but it IS free, and unedited, and... "OK" selection.
