Great deal! Don't have prime, so I'll wait until I accrue enough to get free shipping. Added to my wishlist.

Added note: Amusing that it shows "Gift wrap available". Hmmm Could be a good gift, I guess.

This stuff is so expensive - what a good deal!

Why does Tide laundry soap have the Kosher symbol on it?

vote-for5vote-against

For those that don't have a HE machine, the regular version has the same price and coupon.

@russianheman: Soap (most) use a gentle acid to clean things. This acid typically comes from either veggies or animal fat. Animal fat is cheaper and what most companies use. Tide uses the veggie method and that makes their product kosher and vegetarian friendly. :-)

Tide Total Care H.E.Liquid Laundry Detergent, Renewing Rain, 100 fl oz $11.97 at WALMART.

I don't have an HE machine, but I used the 32 load bottle of laundry detergent from the 99 Cents Only Store and it works just fine.

Not really a great deal, Wal-Mart has it for $7.54 each for the 50oz or $17.97 each for the 150oz Tide HE.

@jay611j: It's cheaper (or much cheaper if you don't have to pay tax to Amazon) and you don't actually have to step into a Walmart to order it...

@shadowplay1: Yeah that makes sense. I guess i'm just used to living next door to a Wal-Mart ;-)

What the heck is a HE machine?

150oz for 17.97 at Walmart.com. Free shipping so you still don't have to step in the store.

Love this! Thanks for the share - we boycotted Wal-Mart many years ago and so not an option for us - EVER - so this is awesome and I can still be a couch potato! LOL

@twobit94: If you add the sales tax (only 6.25% in my county), you're looking at 12.72 cents per ounce for the W price...plus the gas and time to get to W. This deal is 11.06 cents and is delivered to your door for free (with SSS).

By the way, did some more math and the 170 oz. bottles at BJ's ends up being 12.49 cents per oz. w/tax. However, often we wait to buy until we get the $2.50 coupon, bringing the BJ's price down to 10.93 cents.

I took the amazon deal. :)

@gmwhit: You don't have to wait to reach the $25 threshold though. You get FREE standard shipping (better than Super Saver!) with Subscribe and Save. Plus, that's where you get the added discount. Well, there and the coupon.

Great deal! Too bad it's this kind of thing (deals on everyday items) that will lead to taxes on internet purchases eventually.

@twobit94: Plus tax. Equals a 73% premium over this deal for 50% more product. No deal.

Moot point. The deal now shows a price of $42.95 w/$11.88 s/h.

@gmwhit: Possibly because it doesn't look like it's from Amazon anymore. They may be OOS (out of stock). I'd check back on that link over the next week. Amazon often raises or lowers their prices on items based on their sales volume, but not even close to that amount. And Subscribe and Save always has free shipping on items from Amazon or those that are "fulfilled by Amazon". At least AFAIK.

the regular efficiency one is still working. Thanks @nwinnie
