I have 2 of these. They are the brightest little flashlight I have ever used. The focusable beam makes it worth every penny.

@speedster00: I concur...I have one for each car and a few in strategic locations throughout the house for power outages. Best $5 I've ever spent!

Thanks! I just ordered two. The only downside is that estimated delivery is April 17.

Ordered a couple of these last Fall for kids who were going out on a scavenger hunt. The amount of light this thing puts out is very impressive, and it's small enough to fit in a pocket.

Thanks for all the comments! These really are great little flash lights. I put two on a 4-wheeler for more light.

Looks like shipping is not free anymore.... But the total is about the same with .99 shipping.

@tctk1044: You should get them much sooner than that. Mine came very quick.

Estimated delivery: Apr. 17, 2013 - May 3, 2013, in for 2 and shipping was still free. When i seen 17-28 days to ship i was like WTF....but hey its only 10$ for two..

@speedster00: I love mine too. Very bright little light and the 1 AA battery lasts a while.

Yup, mid April to May for shipping. All good though :) (in for 2)

Lol, I love how the list price is 35 bucks. Riiight.

Great light though.

I bought one and use it as a bicycle headlight. The battery lasts about 1 1/2 hours when used constantly. Very good output for a single AA battery.

@blt65toth: how many power outages did u use this? cause that's my plan too. Used it zero times. Lol

I find it funny the light blinks when battery is too low.

It is a good light for the price, however, no where near 300L. I bought 6 of these to give to my lady friends to keep in their purses. This was for self defense in movie theaters. I told them to put it on tight focus, & aim at a would be attackers eyes, then run. They are all running the 3.6v Lithium Ion batteries.

@rlapid2112: That should work pretty well... if the attacker has severe epilepsy...

I've had several of these with different brands, outputs, and modes (simple on/off, hi-lo-strobe). Low price, high output, pocket sized, and best of all it takes a single AA battery instead of obscure lithium button cells.

@rlapid2112: I wouldn't leave it on focus. Wide is better. 3.6V does give out a very good amount of light comparing to the regular 1.2V rechargeable. But the 1.2V already warm when leave on for a long time.

@apallohadas: Blinding an attacker with a strong beam of light straight to the eye is actually a pretty effective tactic against anyone. It's not going to incapacitate the other person as long or as hard as a stun gun or mace, but you'd have a chance to run or strike while your foe is disoriented.

@apallohadas: I think it's a decent idea, but it isn't mine. I read this and seemed logical:

I second (or third) that! These are great little lights. Fit anywhere, super bright! I bought a set of lithium rechargeable batteries on ebay, and it makes them even brighter. (I also got mine on ebay for $6.99 shipped, so this deal is even better!) I wish I had these before I retired from the police department!

@ttm77: A lot! I live on the Jersey shore and it seem like every time the wind blows the power goes out. It's so bad that I needed to get a generator for prolonged outages. Saltwater is hell on electrical wires.

@Electricfuzz: I don't consider myself a prepper, but I do like to be prepared.

Beware who the seller is. I bought one back in 2012 when this was on deals woot. I loved it as it had high, low and strobe. it also was very very bright. i got that one from the seller on amazon called BestDeal777 (i recommend her) . So i bought 5 more for christmas and bought it from the lowest price dealer. Yeah i got them in and they only had one mode and were not as bright. Before you buy ask if the one they are selling are the 3 mode model or not. The ones from hong kong are knock offs and have a smaller lens and are not very bright. The 3 mode ones should have a yellow triangle sticker on it. all of them take a AA battery. i hope this helps as i put the good one i got in the first place on my AR-15 but the others i just shoved in drawers. The knock offs are still a flash light but nothing spectacular. -2cents

I buy these quite often from bestdeal777

They are always 3 mode, always say Cree on the side.

People loved them as gifts, and if someone wants one, they pay me $10 and think they are stealing it from me!

I just got mine in the mail and I freaking love these things.
