Also a great addition to your zombie apocalypse survival kit.

80lbs? I don't know if I could lift it to shoot it!

DO NOT BUY. This thing is a deathtrap. I got one as a gift. It fired correctly 3 times and then the locking mechanism burst and it misfired. So I returned it for a new one. The new one fired 3 times and then the plastic parts FRAGMENTED. Plastic shards hit me in the face, luckily I was wearing glasses. Finally, my friend and I replaced all of the plastic parts of the firing mechanism with steel parts hand cut to match the plastic. This time it fired about 20 times and then the plastic notches for the bow fragmented and sent the bowstring flying.

DO NOT BUY any crossbow that uses cheap plastic at all. You can seriously injure yourself.

@friedmanalexg: u r doing it wrong.

I have two of these. I too made the mistake of not pushing the cocking mechanism forward and it caused damage to the pistol when it was pulled forward from the tension of the string. Something that was clearly written in the instructions and which I was too macho to read.

Other than that... this thing is pretty cool and powerful

Also, the link isn't working anymore.

@bdutton: Yes it is. Did you copy and paste it like it said in the description? For some reason that is the only way to get http://dailycheckout.com/ to work.

sometimes I feel like I'm at wal mart when I come here. Not looking for anything in particular, but I leave with a crossbow, lingerie, and a coupon for a free burger.

it looks good enough for cosplay. To bad I don't cosplay.

These are normally $12 shipped on deal sites, also it is not 80lb it is 50lb.

@bdutton

I am aware of the cocking bar problem, that's not what I'm talking about. The locking mechanism inside the pistol failed and then the plastic knock tabs on either end of the bow failed. Spectacularly. Plastic shards flying about 10 feet or so.

I didn't even mention the cocking bar problem! If you fail to read the instructions printed in engrish on the paper wrapping of the box, you'll probably not realize you have to reset the pull bar before you fire the bow. So the crossbow will launch the steel bar against its frame, which causes serious damage to it.

This bow is seriously flawed. Do not buy it at ANY PRICE.

You'll shoot your eye out, kid.
