@skyboxmedia: I agree, from what I can tell. It looks like this is helpful for brand name drugs, whether or not your insurance covers them (but especially if not). Whether it will actually work or not I can't say until trying it.

From my personal experience, I picked up a prescription last week for $5.15 that regularly costs $130. That's actually more than the 75% off they say the range is within. I'm sure that not all drugs are the same and the biggest savings are on generic.

the percentage off is probably off the MAC price and not the cash price that pharmacies tell you

Do you want to risk the card company selling your information? Take a close look at your HIPPA disclosure from your pharmacy and you'll see that third parties, like insurance plans or these discount cards are not covered under the privacy protection.
