The last cigars I bought from cigars.com came to my door quick but they were quite stale and when I tried to return them they didn’t want to hear it

Thats less than 2 dollars a cigar, very good deal, you can only get 1 though.

@jseureau: I ordered their 5 cigar + lighter deal 3 weeks ago for $15, and got it within 3 days by USPS. I put them in a humidor and they were just fine in a couple of days.

I haven't even gotten cancer yet, these stogies are bunk!

I'm a huge fan of Gurkha, but I usually purchase from Cigars International. It seems unlikely that Cigars.com would enjoy a reputation for stale cigars, and I suspect they ship with a humipack. I'll post back here when I get my order.

cigar.com and Cigars International share a warehouse.

If you are a Gurkha fan this is a good deal, and Cigar.com usually has good customer service and fast shipping.

@jrhorn424: out of 5 orders from Cigar.com i only got one without a humi pack. i have yet to get one from CI but i'd have to think its just as simple as whoever packed it forgot or ran out of them.

C.I. & Cigar.com are sister companies, I've ordered from both for years now & never had a problem from either one. Every time I've ordered from Cigar.com the cigars (if it's a sampler like this) they've arrived in a bag with a humi pouch. When I've ordered boxes they've come packaged securely & always fast. Seeing this reminds me that I need to order more humidor solution actually.

@jkukurugya: Thanks for reminding me to buy some cigar juice at the same time.

@jseureau: I don't think you ordered from Cigar.com. They have very good customer service and will replace your smokes for any reason. Now Cigars.com is from JR Cigars you might have your companies confused. I find it really hard to believe Cigar.com would not help you out.

@jgmcgowan: I love the lighter deals but there are only so many lighters you can use at one time. This deal is good.

In for 1. Big fan of CI and gurkha. Thanks to all who confirmed cigars.com and CI are similar/related companies.

vote-for1vote-against

@dome555: CIGAR.com & C.I. are "related," cigars.com is JR Cigars website, which isn't affiliated with C.I. to my knowledge.

@jeparz: Lol, you're welcome, it's funny how that can slip your mind until it's too late. My current bottle is getting REALLY low but it should last until this new shipment hits my doorstep.

If anyone is looking for a humidor CI has a $40 humidor (glass top) + 10 premium hand mades for $30. It includes Gurkha, Cohiba, etc. It can hold 30 cigars easily, enough for this order and their samplers. For 60 bucks 30 cigars is a good deal.

in for one....this obsession has to stop...

@jgmcgowan: Not good any more, sadly. gone back to $135 : -(

If you get a stale cigar, dampen a paper towel. Wrap it around the cigar. Put it in the microwave for 7 to 10 seconds. When it comes out, it will feel and smoke like it has been sitting in an expensive humidor!

@woomemat: it still exists at www.cigarsinternational.com/say34. I just got it a few days ago. A little smaller than I expected, but still totally worth it.

Edit: Apparently this package has some different cigars, but still effectively the same deal.

Got my order today. No humipack, a little disappointed. Shipping was fast and this deal was a steal. The cigars tasted fine, but could probably use a day or two in the humidor, since the draw is a little light.
