This company takes forever to ship their products, despite their so called next day shipping claim... I order from them last time and it took about two weeks for them to ship, not deliver, when it should of been next day shipping. Even though I didnt have to pay for the so called "faster processing," they did advertised it - which was the reason I bought it. Good luck if you order from them, they are not so customer oriented.

Just what I've been wanting for World War Z. Or The Walking Dead. Why doesn't everyone just break into a store and load up on these things instead of hauling around a baseball bat? Really, what would behead a zombie faster than a Katana? You never have to worry about running out of bullets or making too much noise, either.
Who's Zed?
Zed's dead, baby.

@roguengineer: I think id trust a real bat over a $22 for 3 sword in a situation like that. The blade would probably quickly start smacking into stuff rather than cutting through, possibly getting stuck, and the tang would probably break out of the handle in not too long.

I'm gonna have to go with paul on this one. Cheap sword = eaten brain. These were made for looking at, while a bat is made for hittin'...unless it's one of those little ones they give away at the game once in a while...or one of those "Just lookin' at bats" you see sometimes.

At least now I know where the makers of "Dead Rising" went to model their weapon durability.

Me: "ooh a katana! Time to get my ninja on with that crowd of zombies!"

hack slash hack break

Me: "WTF?"

the zombies: om nom nom

I've been using this to razz a buddy that does custom, one off knives that tend to be a tad expensive. He hasn't been amused by my antics.

@docthirst

Paul and docthirst are both correct in what they say. I've had the opportunity to actually sit down in a presentation + Q&A session with Max Brooks, who wrote World War Z (that you mention); Brooks specifically says that "decorative swords which teenagers love to hang about their beds" are worthless. You should pick up a copy of The Zombie Survival Guide, Max Brooks, where he will say the first place you should go to buy a weapon is a hardware store (for genuinely usable axes, pick axes, etc). Baseball bats are a good substitute if you can't get to a hardware store.

The only sword you can really trust when it comes to your survival when beheading zombies is a Hattori Hanzo sword.

Smallish swords are not so great for beheadings, anyway. Inside that oh-so-slashable neck is a spine, made of bones that don't mate very cleanly to each other. Good luck getting your blade to pass through bone or find the exact location and angle for passing between vertebrae. Basically, it's not going to happen.

An axe, however, has enough heft to shove those pesky bones out of the way, shatter them to pieces, and keep right on going before the neck can accelerate through its inertia and shrug the blow.

If you don't get a clean beheading, everyone knows the zombie will just straighten its head back up and keep coming at you.

$23 for three swords? That is a price that just screams quality right there! I will order several and start a neighborhood zombie watch. There is no way they'll get by us with these high quality pieces!

Dillyeo likes to down-vote other deals to make theirs look more attractive... You know, rather than offer stuff people want to buy for cheap.
