It says 50% off all items. Is that all the items on the site, or all of the items in the picture? And is that 50% off the list price, or the sites normal price?
I see lots of products that aren't 50% off of either their price or the "List Price."
I don't quite understand the 50% off part either.
fail. every time i try to complete my order, it wipes out my CC info and tells me to pick a payment method.
edit - never mind. my dumb ass couldn't remember my CC# correctly.
I'm only seeing the 10% off, once the code is entered. Anyone else?
i'm getting 10% as well for 'welovewoot'.
It's 50% off of the REGULAR FULL PRICE , not any of the sale prices!
Ripoff as to the discount.
The CORRECT ad should read as a simple 10% off, because that is all you get upon checkout. Putting their normal prices in the header is misleading.
Why would I feed my pet silverfish? Is silverfish a new type of pet food?
It seems no matter what I am buying, the discount is only ten percent. :(
Their prices don't seem like much of a deal, at least on the items I looked at. I just paid less for several of the items they show when I bought groceries this week.
I can get as good or better deals on these things at Target.
Yeah, disappointed with the advertising not matching up with the deals on the site. As stated, most items are not 50% off even the MSRP as stated on the site. A couple of decent deals, but I'm only looking at about $20 worth so free shipping doesn't kick in. I too could match these deals at Target or the local grocery store and not pay shipping. It's not a bad deal if you don't want to go out and would rather have it shipped to your home, but not for me.
@thefenst: any thoughts on the discount?
Even with the coupon code, it's not a deal. Ten 4-packs of double roll Charmin: $28.70-$2.87 = $.64 per roll. My Local supermarket has 24 Double rolls for $13.99 = $.58 per roll. Likewise with the paper towels- Bounty BASIC, 8 rolls for $7. My store- 15 rolls of REGULAR Bounty, $13.99.
The drawstring trashbags seem to be a good deal, but not if I have to add shipping, and I'm not spending $49 on garbage bags, just to save a few bucks!
I concur: FAIL!
@smtatertot13: It's 50% off regular price, with the Woot coupon code providing an additional 10% off.
@thefenst: Is the "regular price" the list price the post above their prices? If that's the case, not everything is 50% off, so the deal is still incorrect. Go to the site, they tell you the percentage off and many items are not 50% off.
Also, if that's the case (as opposed to 50% off of their normal prices), it's a very deceptive add.
@thepenrod: I have asked the merchant for clarification. I will post again when I have a response from them.
@thefenst: yeah, thanks for repeating the info from the OP. i was asking for clarification, like you're getting now.
If you think the prices are a great deal you must buy all these items at a quick shop and not a dollar store.
its true you could find cheaper papergoods at a dollar store. but its just that - cheaper. i like my plates to be able to hold my food and not bend in half when im serving - and plastic forks that don't crack when im eating my chicken...
for that, i have to buy the quality brand names - and i haven't been able to find deals like this for quality merchandise.
thnk you papergoodsdirect.com
Sorry, but this isn't much of a deal at all. I get better prices at my regular grocery store. The 50% off is misleading, too, and even if you took half off the 'sale' price, I STILL get better prices at Harris Teeter -- plus they always have double coupons. So I think I'll pass on this one.
It's been over half the day on a one day sponsored deal and there's still no answer to my questions. I asked for clarification on something that seems to me to be an obvious error/problem right after the deal posted last night and again this morning. Am I off or wrong in expecting prices to be accurately advertised on deals.woot?
@thefenst: The day is almost over. Doesn't anybody at deals.woot see a problem with this deal?
@srdesign19:
I can get everything on your site cheaper at CVS right down the street.
Title updated.
All told.
@jumbowoot: I don't see any difference. Is it possible for my browser to be loading a cached page or something?
It's showing up now, it was either my cache or it took a few minutes to reflect the changes.
