This looked like a decent deal until I remembered that I live in CA. One of the most restrictive states maybe only surpassed by NY for allowing mail order of anything that might maybe possibly be a gun, hidden sword, or anything a ninja would use.

vote-for2vote-against

not exactly a deal. you can go to downtown LA and get a bag of 10 of these cheap things for 20 bucks. but if you want quality, go to big 5

"Tactical". More simply: "It's painted black".

I've never been disappointed that I lived in California before.

Go to big5 for quality? Are you serious? Try Evike.com
They ship airsoft all day in california. There is NO law restricting airsoft shipping into, in, or out of california. Sounds to me like these guys have a vendetta, New York on they other hand has outlawed airsoft.

There are things you can buy in CA that you can not purchase mail order from outside of CA. The state is a little wackadoo on some of that and the laws get confusing or are not clear so it is safer for companies to error on the side of caution. A good example would be wine. I work for a delivery company and we deliver wine to houses all the time but it must be shipped from inside CA can't be shipped from out of state.

Shame they can't ship to my state.

@asahel01: The wine deal is more of a "protect our own" industry sort of thing. Or in other words, "Trade is great as long as it benefits us, if not then lump it."

I live in upstate ny and ordered knives on here awhile ago and never got them, even though the shipping info said I got them. :(

I sold airsoft guns online and I've sold pistols that exactly looked like these. These guns are worth around $3.00, laser is inaccurate and serves no purpose other than pointers, gun can shoot 10-15ft at best. Build quality is cheap plastic that can break anywhere from your first shot to about a month.
These are just best for messing around with. Don't know why it's a deal since this is actually more expensive than the average eBay price.

@nondachi: It's a deal because, as a featured deal, they paid for the advertising.

California has some very strange laws (I have to choose my words lightly cuz of Homeland Security). You can order a crossbow through the mail but not a BB gun. It's ok to order throwing knives, samarai swords, and taser guns but you can't order a small metal gun lighter through the mail. Bird-brained!!! I'd rather be shot with a BB gun than a crossbow. Call me crazy!!!! I'm sure instead of fixing it and allowing the order of BB guns they will eventually just outlaw everything.

@dinosquirrel Just because a company ships something to California doesn't make it legal. California's laws are so whackadoodle that many company's just have a legal disclaimer stating it is the responsibility of the purchaser to check all applicable laws for their State prior to purchase.

"Airsoft" without "air" is pretty lame. Having to cock a spring before every shot is pretty annoying. That technology has been around for 20+ years.

More Lasers = Batteries. Also the pistols are spring loaded so you can't really duel weld very effectively since you have to reload after every shot. You can probably get a better set up somewhere else, but I would say its a good buy if you are just starting to get into airsoft.
