I need a food processor, but why does it have to be blue?

@jds4life: Because that is what they are selling...?

Colonel Sandurz: They must have hyper-jets on that thing.
Dark Helmet: And what do we have on this thing? A Cuisinart?

My wife and I have this processor, though not in this magnificent shade of blue. We actually bought it a little cheaper on sale at Macy's ($80), so this may not be a great deal.
The processor is excellent and very easy to take apart/reassemble for cleaning. It is also surprisingly sturdy.

Imagine the deep doo doo you will be in if you buy this as a gift for your honey once she notices this in a brick and mortar type store in a nice color. Is it really worth the consequences to maybe save a couple of bucks? Even if she asked for an ugly blue food processor, she didn't mean this ugly.

If you buy your wife a food processor - regardless of color - for St. Valentine's Day you are probably in trouble.

In for one. Our old food processor is on its last legs. I could replace the belt on that 4 cup model or get a nice shiny blue model. Decision made!
