As in Zen, the trick is to become one with the activity, to engage in it fully, to see and appreciate all details--be it hiking in the woods, penning an essay, or tightening the chain on a motorcycle.

From what I hear it's a great book, but this is no deal- I see it all the time on Amazon for for $14-18, and used for under $8 shipped!

@rroberto: I did note soft cover books for less, but not new hardbound.

Seems steep. It was all the rage in college 30 years ago. I'd look for a paperback copy. The foreward tells you it's a book about the nature of being, and not much about motorcycle repair. If you like philosophical discussions, this is for you.

It's a great book, but it's kind of like a well. You have to pull what you want or need out of it. First lesson it teaches is not to spend this kind of idiot money on an old book.
