Thanks Valve, I wasn't planning on sleeping tonight anyways.

Already have DS2 for PC. Considering picking up 1 and running back through. I'd rented it on PS3 and ran through, but never did anything crazy (like the Hardcore Mode DS2 for example) and may just go for it again.

Well worth far more than they're charging. These games are two of precious few that manage to combine survival horror with a more modern action genre. Truly excellent games.

Liked DS1, but after about an hour of DS2, I can tell I'm going to like it a LOT more. The only grievance I have is that apparently, EA's knack for stupid DLC practices and crummy patches means that all the DLC items are free in the store from the get-go. Just don't buy anything in the in-game store that's 0 credits, if you want to stick to the original playstyle. (And since it's a horror game, you ought to limit yourself, imo)

Excellent games the both of them. My favorite series since MGS. Well worth the money.

To save someone a click-through, these are $4.99 each, not $4.99 for both.

I played the first Dead Space on PC and found it to be a terrible port...specifically in the control input. It is incredibly laggy and the sensitivity settings in the setup GUI is ridiculous. To help a bit, go to C:\Documents and Settings(your user name)\Local Settings\Application Data\Electronic Arts\Dead Space ...you will find a settings file there that is a mandatory tweak if you want any kind of mouse response. You can increase the mouse sensitivity a lot higher. The janky install also created a second folder called "Electrontic Arts", which is harmless but careless on EA's part. The PC platform was an afterthought on this one. I didn't give Dead Space 2 a shot after my experience with the first one.

@mattjenkins76: I just turned off the "mouse smoothing" (or something like that) option in game and it fixed it for me. I didn't have to alter any settings file.
