This is as a promo for the Dragonborn DLC, just up for sale last night on Steam and I'm guessing other retailers online for PC. Hearthfire DLC (lets you own houses and marry/have family) and Dawnguard DLC (kill vampires storyline) are each 50% off presently as well.

Personally, Hearthfire is the better of the two if you have to choose, but the base game on its own is really amazing. Many get at least 100 hours of gameplay out of their original run, then make a few more characters after that. If you're one for RPGs, this is the game to get.

@waltsnider: i agree, this is a great game for rpg fans. i've had 5 characters, the best is level 81 and can't advance further (i've lost a good part of my life to bethesda - primarily to fallout3 and skyrim). the dragonborn dlc is good and i recommend it, but it left me feeling empty - i wanted or expected more.

I lucked out I got Oblivion , skyrim, and Morrow wind w/ all DLC for $33 from a UK site. Yeah they charged me an extra dollar for out of the country fees, but it was worth it. They have it for about $19 at http://www.game.co.uk/en/the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-dragonborn-191161/?cm_sp=topnav-_-Downloads-_-SkyrimDragonbornLogo where I purchased it in the first place. They send you a steam code which worked on my US steam. I currently live in California.

@waltsnider: lol, ditto about New Vegas, had to play it though. whenever i see a Bethesda or Square Enix game i have to try it.
