Slumber Solutions Highloft Supreme 4-inch Memory Foam Mattress Topper for $69.99 + shipping
Because after a bedframe, a box spring, and a mattress, more than four inches of foam would be excessive.

List's $74.00--?
Looks like 3" with an inch of egg carton on top.
@journeyloaded: Actually it appears to be all memory foam with the egg carton design cut into it. That being said, the comments seem to reflect that it's not good quality memory foam. But for $70, what can you expect? I bought one at Walmart for $80 that was only 2" and it was half egg carton foam, half memory foam.
I'm psyched about this, have been wanting to get some sort of topper for our aging mattress for a long time since we can't afford to replace it just yet. There are hundreds of positive reviews on Overstock, so it's worth the gamble!
If it's one of the Chinese-made ones that give off the toxic fumes, skip.
@sdanrich: As opposed to....what exactly? They're all Chinese made products and the chemical smell is pretty much standard to them all, the ones that stink less were just aired out longer before packaging.
I bought a three inch memory foam topper from overstock about 3 years ago. Best sleeping investment possible. It's still in relatively good shape, even with a toddler and an overweight cat bouncing around on it. I bought a cheapo mattress set, added the topper...my bed is the envy of my friends. Anytime anyone sits or lays down they say how it's the most comfortable thing ever. Highly recommended. Just be prepared...once you get it, takes a few days to "inflate"...so make room in the corner for it to expand.
I bought one of these several years ago for a Christmas present and the fumes made me very sick. Just a warning if you are prone to chemical sensitivities (allergies, medications, etc)-I would avoid these. I literally let it air for weeks and it still smelled. I find it hard to imagine that the fumes and chemical composition of the mattress itself to be healthy for anyone, but then again everyone is different. Thankfully overstock took the thing back and even paid for return shipping which would have cost me the same amount as I paid for the mattress in the first place.

That's what I meant, yes. Looks like 3 inches of memory foam with the 4th being egg carton cutout.
We got the Serta one that they show in the corner and I love it. My kids all want one! It is worth the price and much cheaper than anything you see in the stores around here. It takes a few days to fully inflate but it unrolls to where you can put the sheets on in a couple hours. You just place it on the bed and come back a few hour later to adjust it and put the sheets on. Gets thicker over the following couple days.
