These look nice...anyone know if they turn your finger black after the first week?

@cindihoward: I've gotten a few stainless steel rings from Tanga. No finger discoloration at all. They've got some nice titanium, tungtanium, and ceramic rings for inexpensive prices as well. Haven't yet purchased a ceramic ring, but I've been happy with all the other rings I've purchased so far.

They do look nice...but if you bust up that finger and it swells to the point that the medics have to cut it off of you...they take your finger first. No way to get a wire saw between you and the ring.

@tomdogiously: Yeesh! Good point...makes me think about all of those people who are doing titanium wedding bands instead of gold these days...

@tomdogiously: I'm sorry but that is false. Snopes debunks this myth for both Titanium and Stainless steel.

@Dmaz I recently had to have a titanium ring cut off my finger. The ER tech ended up using a dremel tool and a cutting disk. I was spraying water on the ring while he cut, to keep it from getting so hot it burned me. Also, he had to cut the ring twice, because after he cut it the first time he couldn't bend it off of me.

It is awesome to have a "fake" wedding ring. I am an avid SCUBA diver and I don't want to lose my platinum wedding band. Stainless or titanium is a great substitute. Hoping to find one of these small enough to fit the wife.

I made a matching set for the wife and myself. Would have been more practical to buy a set, but it's pretty cool to have something I made.

I've been losing a lot of weight lately, and the titanium rings are great wedding band substitutes. Much cheaper than getting the real one sized over and over again.

One thing though, these can't be sized.

My sons - 19 and 21 - like to wear rings and since they have a tendency to lose them I don't mind buying thme these. Plus, they are really nice looking and my boys really like them. The spinners are their favorites!

My husband lost his (very pricey) titanium wedding band a few years ago and he's just been going without for awhile because we don't have the cash to replace it. This finally convinced him to replace it. Yayyy!

I've got a couple of Tanga rings. They're decent and the price is sure right. I've actually considered buying a bunch of them to resell at Renaissance Fairs because they don't have annoying burrs like some other low-cost rings.
