I can never get the printer activator whatever it is to work. I wish they'd make these mobile phone accessible like Michaels and Joann's have.

@pleepleus: Assuming it is the same as the deal they did last week, it is a real gift card - no special exclusions, purchase requirements, or expiration dates.

vote-for9vote-against

I'd love to use it but the printer nonsense doesn't work.

Let me just say that this is a great deal. I picked up a $25 Google Play gift card and $30 iTunes gift card AND THE COUPON WORKED!!

$65 worth of giftcards for $55

(Please note that this coupon WILL NOT WORK if purchasing Target Giftcards.)

like wnxy said, I did it last week and it was a real gift card. The register people have a stack of them sitting on each register.

My purchase was like 49.50 last week, I had to grab a pack of gum to get the $10 gift card.

The only bummer is that it's 1 card for a purchase over 50. If you'd like to buy $150 worth of items you'd need to print 3 coupons and split the order. (Last week the coupon printer let me print 2, I didn't try to print more)

bah, needs to install the coupon printer again. Maybe I'll install it on my work computer or something...

vote-for4vote-against

@graywh: Nope, I bought a $50 card and got my 5% off plus they gave me the $10 card

vote-for3vote-against

I haven't had the chance to print it out either, and this may be answered by the actual print out; but... How many times can you use this coupon to buy $50 gift cards? That could easily be free money if you pick up a 10, $50 dollar GCs

vote-for3vote-against

You can use extra copies. I think the coupon printer thing limits it to two prints. But last week I printed two, and used them on separate days and both worked fine (and had the same coupon code on each).

vote-for3vote-against

Does the $50 have to be after 5% redcard (Target Visa) discount?

vote-for3vote-against

I just spent $56 last night and then saw this. I think I need to return my stuff and buy them again with this coupon.

Coupon worked for me after installing the coupon printer. Anyone know if these have unique ID, or can they be copied and used multiple times?

vote-for2vote-against

@giorgitd: I believe you are only able to print out two. They cannot be copied. What you might try is to print them out from a different computer in your house (if you have two.) That might work

vote-for2vote-against

What is the coupon printer? How do I install it?

vote-for2vote-against

also it is a real gift card & the source is a PDF with a non-unique number so you can print out multiple copies.

After umpteen failed attempts, I finally got this to print. And I have printed Target coupons from this computer before.

Had to switch from Chrome to IE, re-download the .exe (Why?), agree to the agreement, and then click allow in the little IE pop-up I did not see the first four times asking me permission to run the add-on. That last step was apparently my hang-up.

Sharing in case that helps anyone else save ten bucks.

Works fine for me using Chrome and an epson wireless printer. Also, was able to print 2, and only 2 using my laptop - afterwards it gave a message too many attempts from the same computer (including trying a different browser - firefox). In order to print 2 I printed the first, closed the tab and went back to the target site from the link above - perhaps if you had trouble trying to print 2 you just hit your back button? That seemed to mess mine up briefly as well.

Can also confirm after printing on my laptop that I had no problem (again using chrome and epson printer) printing 2 extra coupons. They also use the same code, so no reason a decent copy (if your printer can scan/copy) wouldn't also be acceptable.

A certain deal website known for making your wallet fatter has scans of the coupon as PDF (check out the hot deals section) that you can print without installing coupon printer. You can print as many as you'd like, and yes, even though it says it, Target does take copies of the coupons as the barcodes are not unique. Used 4 myself of last week's coupon without ever going to Target's website.

Also, you can purchase restaurant/movie gift cards and use this coupon. For example, I purchased a $25 Chipotle gift card and a $25 Starbucks gift card to total $50 and was able to get my free $10 Target gift card with the coupon. I did have one piece of regular merchandise that put the total a few bucks over the $50 mark, not sure if that made a difference or not.

Thanks! I haven't had a problem printing or using any of these! Have two gift cards from the last time.

vote-for2vote-against

@pleepleus: it's one of those flimsy gift cards that they give you for store credit. $10 is $10 though! I'm happy either way!

I just used printed and used this within the last 30 minutes so it does work. Bitch about it and don't try or give it a go yourself. Free money in my pocket.
Thanks to the poster.

Effing target coupon printer never effing works.

vote-for1vote-against

Got it (twice!) Worked with firefox.

vote-for1vote-against

I did this last week, but I could only print one. Spent about $160 on Christmas gifts and got one $10 gift card. Better than nothing, but I wish I'd been able to print two like some people, or had been willing to risk copying my one... the number on it looked unique to me, but who knows.

Only after installing software on my computer???

SUCK ME DRY FIRST

vote-for1vote-against

FYI, you can use the card immediately, on the same order if the cashier is nice.

vote-for1vote-against

@blakemorillas: Also in store only at target get the pack of four $15 itunes cards for $54!

vote-for1vote-against

I am in the military and on a government computer. Unable to download the coupon printer. Would someone be willing to scan the coupon and create a pdf image and email it to me?

vote-for1vote-against

@ctrlaltdefeat: Guess my cashier wasn't nice enough. I asked him if I could use it immediately and he said "No". :(

vote-for1vote-against

Sucks to have to install the coupon printer but hey, I have gotten 3 of these already and they definitely work :)

vote-for0vote-against

Is this a real $10 gift card? Or one of those Godawful 'promotional' gift cards that is basically a coupon ploy to get you back in the store to spend more money later? Those things should NOT be allowed to use the word 'gift card' in their description.
