I bought 5 of the offered albums

Did anyone else notice the Amazon typo? Greatest Hits: Wind & Fire Earth... it shows correctly when you actually click on the album but definitely made me scratch my head wondering if there was another band with a similar name...

Billboard #1: The 70's !! Now that's a real bargain!

Well there goes $6 from my pocket. Money well spent! Thanks for the post.

Not the best collection at this price They've ever offered. :)

@mjonczak:
Agreed! 30 good hits from the 70s, just 15¢ per track. Can't beat that!

Great deal. I'm loving the new Tegan & Sara album.

Sweet deal. Just got 2 albums and will probably get more after work. Thanks!

Man, I've pulled the trigger on 8 so far, and more possibly after the GF takes a look. Nice.

vote-for4vote-against

I think I have pulled the trigger on 8, and I am looking at a few more BEFORE my wife notices...

Sweet deal! Just grabbed the Train album for only $1.99!!

vote-for6vote-against

What a great deal! Less than $4.00 for the 70's Greatest Hits and Frank Sinatra Live (yeah I know...)

vote-for1vote-against

@eaglebeaky: It's pretty fantastic. Grabbed that and Sinatra!

vote-for3vote-against

Oh god... Earth Wind and Fire greatest hits. I'm gonna be dancing at my desk all day.

Had to get the Fiona Apple album (along with Billboard 70's and EWF) and had to wonder if that's the longest album title there is..

Beat the other pedants here and Googled to find out it's not even close...: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Boy_Bands_Have_Won

Can someone answer a question for me please ?
Never got MP3 from Amz before.
Do I have to use their cloud player with this ?
I use Itunes on my mac.
How does this work? I do not hang out on the woot.tech in case you were wondering : )

Thank you .

@ceagee:
I don't do Mac, but I can tell you how it works with a Windoze machine.

You click to buy.
You get on-screen confirmation that the tracks have been put in your "cloud."
You have two choices: Play from cloud; or Download to PC.

If you select Download to PC, Amazon sends a whatever.AMZ file to your PC.
You click "Run" that .AMZ file. (Do not click to "save" it.)
The .AMZ file has data for the Amazon Downloader program.
• if the Downloader program is not already on your PC, the Downloader program downloads and installs.
The Downloader program runs and the .AMZ file tells it what MP3 files to download from your "cloud."
After this is all done, all the files are saved on your hard drive. And they also still reside in your "cloud."

For this to work on the Apple platform, there would need to be an Apple version of the Amazon Downloader program. I don't know whether there is, or not. Hopefully you can Google that, or find the answer somewhere on Amazon's site.

Good luck!

@ceagee:

The amazon downloader will take the music from the cloud and send it to iTunes. It is very easy to do.

@hrweaver and @crowbite :
Thanks. Maybe I'll give one a try and then if it works I'll go back for more.

vote-for2vote-against

@hrweaver and @crowbite : It worked !
Thanks. And it added songs from CDs I bought a long time ago. One from 10 years ago! Some were gifts -- so now I get to listen too !
I bought 5. Going to be up all night listening .

I got Billboards #1s: The '70s, Muse, Sinatra, Aerosmith, and another Muse album for $4.99. Not bad for under $13.

vote-for1vote-against

Excellent deal, I ended up getting 3 and gifting 1. Kinda wish you could keep and share mp3s through Amazon.

Thanks!
