DO NOT BUY THIS.....GOT ONE OF THESE FOR MY NEPHEWE FOR XMAS AND THE FLINT WAS BAD AND NEVER GOT THE THING TO WORK AFTER TRYING FOR 4 HOURS...EVEN PUT NEW FLINTS IN AND STILL NOTHING.....GARBAGE!!!!!

If you must make one from PVC, for the love of all that is holy, wrap the barrel with fiberglass tape (preferably a braid, but at least 2 layers, opposite directions).

PVC becomes shrapnel when overpressurized (why you dont use it on compressed air lines).

I surprised that Uncle Safety Sam even allows this to be sold. I remember making these as a kid, we had one so big we needed to mount it on a ladder. A potatoe cannon + new residential neighborhood construction... fun!
