Prilosec OTC Acid Reducer 42 Count - 2 boxes CHEAP for $7
Step 1: Go to Amazon.com 42 count box page and scroll down just a bit to where you see a $3 coupon you can "Clip". Clip it.
Step 2: Sign up for the Prilosec OTC Subscription for 2 Boxes (every whenever, you can cancel it right away). Must be 2!
Step 3: Your order total should come to $31.59 (at least mine did)... Then you go get your $25 Rebate Form
http://www.prilosecotc.com/en_US/consumer/PromotionsDiscounts/Documents/Rebate_Form.pdf
Once your products arrive, fill out the form, throw in your 2 UPC labels, put your Amazon.com invoice/receipt in with it and send it off. With the $25 back you pay $6.59.
One note: I have completed and sent off my form on the day that this deal came out (Dec. 26th). My attempt to contact P&G to verify this deal will work this way hasn't been returned (so if anyone can verify this 100% that would be great) or may be blocked by my filter.
Regardless, if you take this medicine, $31.59 for 2 boxes is still a pretty good deal (about $45 from wal-mart).
AFTER MIR (Mail in Rebate). And a bunch of other stuff.
Plus, I'm not sure how I feel about buying drugs from Amazon..
Sounds like a SCAM. If you are paying $31.59 then it costs $31.59, not $7.
It's actually $40.70 for 2 boxes though.
How much is your time worth? I just buy mine from Costco and spend the rest of my saved time not filling out forms or cashing rebate checks...
This is even about a $40 savings over costco for 2 boxes. I think I can spend 5 minutes filling out forms for $40 .....
Your complaining about having to spend time to try to get a good deal? Is that not exactly the purpose of deal websites like this?
Got it. Sweet deal thanks
@drchops: I have been a subscriber of this promotion for 4 months and I can attest to the authenticate nature of the packaging and medicine.
@actiondan: Okay...I believe you.
Why not toddle down to Sam's Club and get the generic for a quarter the price and save shipping etc?
Fortunately I don't need stuff like this. I (and yes I know how very fortunate I am) almost never get heartburn. Got a little bottle of generic Tums up in the medicine cabinet gathering dust. I've maybe used a half dozen in better'n a decade.
Had a friend who got heartburn so often and so bad he developed esophageal cancer from all the repeated insult to his esophagus. Not a nice way to go.
Thank you very much! What a great deal!
I WILL do rebates on stuff I buy anyway (just saved $20 on Cabo Wabo Tequila!) but I won't buy something that advertises a low price after rebate if there is a comparable sale around the same pre-rebate price. Remember: there are clearing houses that work full time to screw people out of these rebates on technical violations. By the way- this rebate is good on Prilosec you buy anywhere, so run to Wally world and save the shipping time!
Actually, I take the generic prescription version of this, and pay $25 for a 3-month supply, so this probably isn't worth my time...
@stevec5000: Did you make sure to use the coupon that you clip and take the 15% off by using the subscribe option and then cancelling it right away? $40.70 - 15% (taken off the total first) - $3.00 = $31.59.
I can't seem to find the coupon, does anyone know where it is?
@mszkoda: Nope, I'm not subscribing to anything. It's been my experience that once you subscibe to something like this you can't ever stop it unless you cancel your credit card or change your account no. so they can't keep charging you.
@stevec5000: Ah I see where you are coming from. I have already cancelled my recurring subscription several times just to let you know (of course, my experience isn't fact at all). I don't have it deliver them monthly to me, I just order them when I want and then cancel it. It's an option in your account under something called subscriptions where you just click either Cancel or Skip the next shipment. Amazon isn't very shady about it. But thats just my experience.
@joni1ellis: It may have expired already. It is usually only available for a short time, however, it does show up regularly as I have seen it before a few times.
@tcayer: I agree. Buy the Prilosec at Walmart, or CVS has it on sale right now. Then go here and follow the directions:

A super easy way to save money!
I didn't even know you kids still took acid! Where do you get it? From that weird looking guy at the park?
