Can these be trusted? Seems like a decent deal. I would feel better about buying a refurbished model cause you just never know with used. What do you think?

Hastings is a bona fide operation. They are a popular bookseller/electronics store in the southwestern US. I would feel as comfortable ordering from them as I would from Best Buy, for instance.

As someone who has had incredible luck with refurbs, the one thing that has busted on me is a refurbed xbox 360. One minute you're about to kill Raining Blood in Guitar Hero and a second later you get a red ring. Walmart has them for $189 and the extra money is well spent: http://www.walmart.com/ip/21144168
