Oh, I have a pattern for a crocheted rabbit around here, somewhere, too. Best thing about making one (knitted or crocheted) is that you can make it from hypoallergenic yarn, and stuff it with proper fiberfill, and know that your child or grandchild is not about to ingest lead or other evil things.
