@ndame: Did you try the coupon code?
i just got it for 599 with the coupon code! sweet!!!
This is NOT a true LED. This one is only edge lit. Pay a little more and get better. 120 hz isn't bad, but 240 hz is better. Even so, it's a good brand name, and sure to be better than most TVs in it's price range.
I don't see a spot to enter the Coupon Code at all.
@mrbarister: There's no "true" LED. There's edge lit and a full backing array, but they are both LED backlit. And 120Hz is just fine. The jump from 120 to 60 is noticeable...not so much from 120 to 240.
@mrbarister: 240 is better for...what exactly?
I'm barely convinced 120 is worth the premium since I always end up turning off the anti-judder software to avoid the soap opera effect.
@mrbarister: yea man, edge lit is comparable to nicer lcds, but are more efficient.
Also, 240hz is not anywhere need the 600 dolla--this deal rocks
I bought one of these last year for $799 on sale so this is an amazing deal! I definitely recommend it to everyone. I play tons of fast past games on it and never had ghosting or artifacts even after some 24 hour marathons.
@bonoman: It's in section four under the checkout.
@powerq: Ah thanks. Shows up in IE, but not Chrome!
I own this tv. I got it at BB a few months back for this same price making them match to Amazon... somehow they don't do that anymore.
FYI Circuit City's site = Tiger Direct
(I'm a former CC employee, RIP)
The 120 Hz is nice... huge bump from a 60 Hz LCD I had before. Though you need to use "game mode" to drop it down to get rid of the lag if you have a console hooked up to it.
Super light - about under 20 lbs. Mounted this on my wall (monoprice mount) by myself holding it up with my foot.
I will say the edge lighting is noticeable in the dark. I can see a whitish glow on the right side corners.
I typically hate Toshiba - but I've been pretty happy about this purchase. Paired with a Sony sound bar, and IKEA LED lighting and this takes the cake for a sleek crisp setup
@icehands: thanks icehands; valuable review. joined in 2007? don't be a stranger!
Per website: "Currently Unavailable" Deal RIP?
To every elitist here. LED is great (edgelit or not) as long as you don't mind a reflective screen. Next, 120hz+ is all the same as your eyes can't see that fast anyway, the only thing you can tell a difference on is 60hz and 120hz, but nothing above that. Also, if you miss the deal, it's available on amazon for $650 with prime and no tax. I just bought the 17u version (nettv), both have great overall reviews.
@icehands: I prefer not to use the "game mode" and I do not have any issues with lag in any of the games I play on any of the systems I play them on.
@3vilpenguin: Tax for NYers...and several other states.
Help!! I wanna get this deal but it says "unavailable". Does anyone know a way around this?? I tried login in through the circuit city website but its at 799 and it doesn't allow u to put a promo coupon code. Is this deal RIP
Where do I input the coupon code?
