I'll be interested to see how you like the speakers. I might have bought them but I had nothing to go on other than 2 reviews that I could find on the internet.

These are compared to very good speakers that are similarly priced. I'm in for a set.
The site is a google trusted store with 1 5 star review on the speakers.

I found a couple of reviews on the 5.1 500W for $90. Those reviews were surprisingly very positive.

This really seems to be not so good. Honestly I like the Price but I cant find a single place that backs this up to be good enough. If someone can prove it worth, I'm all for it.

It might be possible they consume 300 watts

vote-for1vote-against

@starmanbackwards: oooh yeah, i realize that. and 300 watts would be more than I ever need. im no perfectionist, all I need is something other than my headset to play music. something, preferably, that gives me longer away range than my headset :)

@marktheard:

The price of these speakers is very reasonable (without having heard them) the problem is that by implying that they crank out 300 Watts , they are implying these speakers are a LOT more of a value than they are actually are.....In the olden days there was a a standard called RMS, for whatever reason it was abandonned and manufacturers have their own standards , thus OVERINFLATED specs of "power". to sell their product
In reality they are probably 5 to 20 Watts (total) of power. If they were really 300 watts , the cabinets would be made of Pecan or Oak etc .not press woord or plastic.

@purplefeather:
I would recommend the low end speakers from Logitech or Cyber Accoustic or Altec Lansing ones...at least you knowwww what youre getting....low budget speakers or better yet if money is an issue (ive done this( you will be amazed at what you will find at your local thrift stores

Was just looking at these on amazon. $25 isn't so much for even a mediocre pair of computer speakers

I have a tv with broken speakers that I can't afford to replace for another couple months. I've been looking for cheap speakers in the hopes of getting maybe not excellent sound, but just some sound out of the TV. These might be okay for that purpose at this price.

I found them listed on the VM website.

no reviews for this specific product, and on Amazon other VMA speakers get mediocre reviews.

Now Only $37.95 and not listed on VM website..

They absolutely will put out 300 watts... when lightning strikes them!

vote-for1vote-against

No reviews anywhere and you'll just save $10 or so, it sounds a little sketchy.

vote-for7vote-against

i have a hard time with this 300watt business.....i doubt its anything close to that for the price....lets bring back reality...RMS

This looks like a solid deal!
