Did anyone actually confirm this was Tide they were texting to before they gave them all their personal information?

Looks like this offer has expired

We found a quarter cup of borax cleaned the smell out of my front load washer after just one use. It also works as a laundry detergent booster / clothes freshener. It was way cheaper than the Tide cleaner that said it required several uses. Not cheaper than free of course, but after you run out of your sample, borax is worth the try.

Finished in 4 minutes. They now have my cell, home phone, home address, birthday and email address.

Signed up. They had my address already, but I wonder if it will come in my name or someone else in the household!

I have yet to get this to work for me. Either my birthdate or zip code is coming back as "Not in a Recognizable Format."

When I complained about the smell in my high energy efficient washing machine, the salesman told me he'd never heard that before...are you kidding me? They even have commercials about new washing machines stinking! We solved the problem by buying a brand new "old" style washing machine that doesn't stink and giving the new machine to an elderly aunt who says she doesn't have any problems...that's cause she can't smell!

This is nice for free but you can always just do an empty load with Bleach OR Vinegar... not both... unless you wan't to be poisoned.

@mrmucox: If it's a front loader there is a chance that some water is caught in the rubber gasket. I wipe mine out every few loads.

free tide! now people don't have to steal it from the stores to pay for their drugs! think its a joke? it was all over the news a few weeks ago

@stanleys: I believe it had some short of enzymes the break down the source of the odors, such as mold and mildew the normal detergent wouldn't take care of. My problem was a buildup somewhere outside the washing tub but inside the machine. I know I'm not examining explaining this very well. You may want to full the machine past it's max level to possibly reach what you're trying to get to inside the machine. With my machine, if you hold the knob at reset it will continue to fill. I filled mine nearly to the top.

After I entered my birthday, they asked for my e-mail address, then told me my sample will ship soon... Never asked for address... maybe I did something with them before.

@wheretheworldmeets: You have to text back a forth a couple of times until they have all of your information.

Just curious ... How would they know where you live / where to ship it to?

vote-for3vote-against

@mrmucox: I am mystified why the regular detergent one adds to the washer doesn't do just as good a job.

vote-for3vote-against

This stuff honestly works wonders! I had a moldy smelling washer, and after 3 of these treatments, it's like new! Totally recommend!

vote-for4vote-against

Thanks! I got "your sample ships soon!" a few minutes after texting the code.
