I am always wary of a "seller refurbished" item...When you combine this with the fact that the seller only offers a 14 day return and makes you pay the shipping on returns, even if it is defective, the deal looks worse all the time. The price of $200 is not all that great anyway for a two year old used tablet. I would call this a deal at about $125-$150....(Disclaimer: I have two ASUS Transformers; TF300 and TF700 and love them)

Stay away from this model. It is riddled with problems. Get the tf300 or the tf700. This is not a good deal. You can find a tf300 WITH DOCKING STATION for under $250 every other week.

@asalott2: "This is the model that had some GPS and WiFi issues." ...from the Original Post.

I got one. Yes, this model has GPS connectivity problem. It must be a big one because there is a class action lawsuit against Asus and this model.

I'm looking for a manufacturer refurb TF300 32GB with dock for ~$250. Anyone know where to get that?

@Alextse, I bought a TF300T with dock a while back for around $250....I don't remember exactly where it was from....I also bought a TF700T with dock for not much more recently....(as you can see, I am a tablet junky, so I make so many deals I forget where they are from)

With new models coming out soon, I am sure there will be a lot of deals coming along. Subscribe to all the newsletters and make sure you have the Woot Check app on your current device...

@asalott2: I won't say the TF300 isn't good, because I'm sure it is. But I've had a TF201 for quite some time now, rooted it and put on a custom ROM, and it's wonderful.

I tried out a TF700 recently (from Woot) and ended up selling it and sticking with my TF201. It just wasn't that much better to justify the price.

Note: I use wifi every single day, but the GPS? Absolutely never - that part is well and truly broken :) No argument there.

@rrussell: Good on you that the TF201 is meeting your needs. A look at the specs will show you that both the TF300 and the TF700 are far superior to it in speed, connectivity, screen, etc...I have had both of those and never had a TF200 because of the bad reviews...The GPS is used for many things that are not obvious, such as weather reports, location services and many others besides the obvious. This was just a mistake by ASUS which they corrected in later models....Good luck and take care...
