What not waterproof (like today's Woot!)? Well, it still seems like a slam'n deal... too bad all my devices stop recognizing cards after 16GB!

I was a click away from buying one of this for 15 bucks more on amazon earlier. Thanks for the find!

@crazeguy: I almost bought a Transcend brand one on Newegg for $50 too. I backed out because I just thought it was too much. Now this is more like it. Sandisk often underrates their cards, so this should write faster than advertised too.

@jamesonbirrell: at least it read/writes alittle* bit faster

Thanks for posting. In for two.

Would go in for one, but I have serious doubts about the company.

I'm still waiting on an order from July.

The only responses I've received from the company are the form responses with a random name attached. Pretty much similar responses through the BBB for almost a month of back and forth.

I just spent twice that for the exact same card 2 weeks ago..... Great find!

Also in for one. The checkout was a little strange: did not take my CC info, so I used PayPal.

These guys are scammers. Google them. The reason they don't take VISA/MC/AMEX directly is because you have direct fraud protection. Paypal?... yeah, good luck with that. This "deal"...is too good and the web is full of lousy chinese companies selling counterfit products...

this is a steal! In for one. Thanks for posting!

Thanks for posting this deal! Exactly what I need.

I would be cautious also. I haven't had problems when I have ordered stuff from 1saleaday before, but memory cards are another issue. I got a counterfeit card on Amazon before... yes the actual amazon not the marketplace, and they were nice enough to refund my money, but I hesitate to buy anything without a solid guarantee.

The way counterfeit cards work is that they are usually smaller than stated 2 or 8 gb. They modify the code enough that it looks like a 32gb card when you initially plug it in. When you reach capacity, the card dies and you lose what data you had (hence how I knew my card was a fake, that and when I called sandisc, they told me about physical features to determine if the card was legit.) After I found out it wasn't Amazon let me return and refunded my money.

So, as to these one's on 1saleaday. If you trust them as a company and believe you can get your money back if they are fake, go for it... but me, I would spend the extra 15 and buy a kingston from amazon.

Yeah, what a steal. Unfortunately the only theft that's happening is going to be from 1saleaday. To the poster above, Amazon has slipped away in quality in recent years just like eBay. I've gotten burned by scammed by them a couple of times now. Why do you think they make it so hard to contact them. If you scour the web you can find contact details, but any reputable online vendor has phone #s and email contacts right on their website. Another thing about Amazon I found out recently is that they filter bad reviews now. Just try and leave a 1 star review and see what happens.

I've never had an issue with 1saleaday.com. I buy from them from time to time and the items arrive without issue. This is a nice deal... even if I don't have anything that can hold it, I will hold on to it and use it in my next phone.

I've dealt with them on occasion and always received what I ordered. As to PayPal, it works for me and I use it direct and when funding from CC as well. Adds one more layer of protection. YMMV!

Bought a nook color about a month ago through 1saleaday. I got the item with no problem within a week of the purchase. But that's the only time I've used them so idk if / how many problems they have.

While I have made a few purchases from 1saleoneday I think that as others have pointed to this might not be an item that you want to buy from them. I ordered a Nook from them some time ago and while the item arrived it took weeks and their customer service was difficult to get a hold of.

On top of this because of the counterfeit microsd card issues others have mentioned I would be wary of making such a purchase through any deal of the day sites.

Just bought one of these. Will comment on the card (or lack thereof) once I receive it and put it through its tests (bench-marking/capacity).

You can pay with your credit card (not through Paypal) alone btw.

I've ordered through them several times. Sometimes it takes a while to get though as with any of these daily deal sites, I've had it happen with woot before too, it's just something I've come to expect especially with these small companies that no doubt have less resources than woot so the proccess takes a little longer. This is a great deal, I just wouldn't buy one expecting to get it at the end of the week.

Seems like the only risk here is that it's a counterfeit card and I consider that remote. The delivery issues are probably isolated cases so I'll take a shot at one of these cards and check it out as soon as I receive it.

Smokin price,fingers crossed.

Still inching it's way to my home... Looks like at least two weeks for delivery.

@tigrange: same here, at least SOMETHING is in the mail. What we may never find out!

vote-for1vote-against

@dgbarstow2: mine arrived yesterday. Looks good and I'll be testing it today.

vote-for1vote-against

@speedoo: wierd... My card has lots content including some nice family type pics. Guess I'll tell them and see what happens. This is supposedly a new card right?

Arrived on Monday... Have been putting it through it's paces. It was '32GB' (30 GB usable) as advertised.

HDTune benched at 17MB/sec avarage 9MB/sec burst
Read avaraged at 14MB/sec for large files and 12MB/sec for small files
Write avaraged at 5.9MB/sec for large files and 4.9MB/sec for small

so pretty much as advertised. Put it in my phone and I haven't noticed that much difference (except for the fact that I can load movies into it faster and some wifi downloads have been faster compared to the class 2 card the phone came with... actual phone performance is pretty much the same, One game has gotten laggy, but I don't know if it's because of the card).

vote-for1vote-against

@tigrange: same here. Just got to mess with it last night. Did an overnight sync with my Fuze and rocking it on shuffle at work! about 30 GB of space on the card and I am gone!
