Bad timing for Newegg to have technical difficulties :(

I'm calling B.S. on Newegg. Go to their site, works fine. But, you won't find this item there.

I had the 16gb version. Only complaint is I lost it. It was a quick little flash drive, even over USB2.

@rby608: freakdiablo's link works and it does come up in the search.

I am not going to do a MIR for either Newegg or Tigerdirect. I have been burned too many times...

MIRs have gotten worse in recent years with the use of prepaid credit cards. I remember the good old days of getting a cut check. A lot of MIRs have some sort of option to get one but it's almost always not worth the hassle. So you end up with a bunch of these prepaid credit cards that all end up having a couple cents left. Plus, when you get more than one you can't pool them toward one big purchase (without a lot of effort/embarrassment).

I am done with MIRs. (more for the rest of you I guess, have fun with all that plastic weighing your wallet down)

NO MIRs !! Tigerdirect and Newegg are using this more and more. You have the option of paying 10% in order to get it in a timely manner or you can wait 8-10 weeks if you don't pay their ransom. You might get it eventually. Don't buy anything with a MIR. What a scam!

@countdown: Good way to spend all of these gift cards with little balance is to go to Marshall's. You don't have to remember the balance on each card. I did it once. I paid my bill with 9 different credit card gift cards.

@squidalarm: THANK YOU!! ;) all these acronyms... ugh

I've owned two of these, both were RMA'd back to ADATA. Both failed within three months of using them. You might have better luck. YNK

@tmski80: Or Target. My job gives bonues with AMex gift cards (total waste of money), but I always use them there and never have an issue.

@rochelleluck: Yeah, I hate loads of acronyms too...

Mail in rebates are deliberately annoying. Many people will not send them in specifically BECAUSE they're annoying, and more will forget about it, so the company gets free money.
