This interesting and elegant piece has intrigued me since I saw it several days ago, in the upcoming deals. I love this site.

Sometimes the deals from this site are rather ordinary, and other times (like tonight) they are unusual, and interesting.
I've ordered several things from this site, and they always arrive in perfect condition, and in just a few days after ordering.
Nice deal! For some reason it's giving me a $9.00 discount on shipping bringing it down to $4.95 to ship...not bad for something heavy like this.
@coffeegirrrl: So glad you mentioned that. They seem always to do that with shipping. Whatever it is, gets chopped in half. I'm still going back and forth on whether I want it.
I can see that it would be very nice, filled with ice tea, in the summer. Almost everything in my house is antique (including me, of course), and this just has the right look to it.
I got one...I've been looking at those smaller plastic ones for a while this is much nicer for not too much more considering the quality. Now I just have to decide what to fill it with during our next party....margaritas or yummy home-made sangria.
@coffeegirrrl: Sangria! By all means, since it will be absolutely beautiful. I can imagine the light shining through it right now, all ruby red and glittery. That's it, I'm off to order one myself.
@shrdlu: Don't forget all the beautiful fruits, sliced citrus and berries. I have a great recipe that uses gin and lots of fruit...can't wait for the BBQ's to commence.
@coffeegirrrl: OR you could get 2 and have one jar of margaritas and another jar of sangria! ;)
Great deal it's twice as much on Amazon. What exactly is the little dish on the bottom used for?
@theoneill555: Lay it down under the spout to catch drips.
@crabnebula: Man you are QUICK! @theoneill555, Crabbie wins again. Not sure what, but something. :-D
BTW, for anyone who is wondering what Optic Glass implies, it just means a higher quality glass, without the bubbles and ripples found in lower quality glass items. It's good to specify this, since you wouldn't want it to be leaded crystal (for example), because the lead leaches out over time.
Oh I like this, I wish I had a house so I had room for cute stuff like this!
Thanks, Crabbie.
