A -1 without a reply really doesn't help, guys.

lol wtf... I thought I would just see how well the coupon code worked.
Before I apply the coupon
Items $33.98
Shipping/Handling $0.00
Tax $0.00
Order Total $33.98

After I apply the coupon
Items $33.98
Coupon Discount $10.19
Shipping/Handling $1.95
Tax $0.00
Order Total $25.74

where the F did the shipping come from? Homepage says its free and so did the check box before I added the code. After I add the code there is no more free shipping option.

2 bright sides though, The coupon did work for a product that had a member discount already or something. (im not a member, I was checking out as guest) and also $2 shipping isnt horrible although the principle is that it says its free...

Still not sure what all the downvotes are for but I don't really care cause I wouldn't buy from them anyways.

Yeah, I don't understand. Why all the hate? Their prices aren't bad with the coupon code and assuming shipping doesn't go higher then $2 it seems like a great deal after the code. Their brand of products are already cheaper then a lot of other brands before the discount.

*edit- I am only looking at things I have a standard knowledge of price for and that I saw right away...Protein, Creatine and Fish oil...

To me everything seems a bit overpriced and then you add the coupon and then it makes them less overpriced... you can get better deals going on amazon or other sites without coupons and more so if they are on sale. I'm sure that's the reason for the down votes... I know when I look on this site, I want to get a great deal...not one that's "meh" which is what this is (to me at least).

As far as I can tell, the only real downside is that you're limited to Vitamin World's and Precision Engineering's brands, in order to receive the discount. The coupon won't apply to other brand names they sell. Still, there is a decent selection within their own line of products.

@outer78: Actually, once you enter in your shipping address, a shipping menu pops up for free shipping and it lists shipping as $0 again.

I'm already a member with Vitamin World and when I applied the discount code to my $83 total, the discount was only $14.

I like their service and products, but without a 30% discount, I'm not gonna replenish my vitamin supply early.

As someone who takes MANY vitamins due to health reasons I can tell you Vitamin World has low-quality (house brand) vitamins which are not labeled very well and even are misleading. (I bought "calcium citrate" on the front label that in the small print in the label on the back showed calcium carbonate - a lower quality, cheaper, non-absorbable for me version - as the first ingredient).

If you CARE that the vitamins you are taking are labeled correctly and high quality, go to Vitamin Shoppe or only buy name brands at Vitamin World.

@dmaz: That's not the only reason, but still true.

BTW, here is the exact product I'm talking about, and they don't even hide their trickery: http://www.vitaminworld.com/vf/labels/061408VW.pdf

the claims made by companies like this one about their products and health benefits of those products are scams. They scare people into thinking they NEED these products, when in fact most people see no benefits from any vitamins or supplements taken in pill form. Of course, there are exceptions, but those people would be better served and save more money by simply shopping the sales at local or chain drug stores like cvs/riteaid. I vote down every post here by any of these companies out of principal.

I clicked through a couple of these supplements and most if not all are very low quality. Take the fish oil for example the one in the picture says 1000mg of Fish Oil on the front great start! Except only 300mg of Omega 3's, Omega 3's are the only reason you take fish oils in the first place those are your anti inflammatory omega's from fish. Just a word from the wise only look at EPA and DHA content when looking at fish oils the higher number of those combined the better the supplement. To add insult to injury they don't even tell you how much of the 300 mg is EPA and DHA
