My wife got one of these. It was fun the first couple times. Now it's just something else to store. We got $15 worth of fun out of though, in fact maybe I'll resurect ours and make her a treat :-)

@tristicus: I had gotten a similar one from Woot - BURNS - BURNS BURNS... if you sort the reviews from Low to High, you will see similar complaints.... But for 20 bucks - try it, but be warned that some may be defective (I assume that was what was wrong with mine).

I have one. I don't make cake pops but I do bust it out and make donut holes every so often. I've never had problems with burning. It does what it's made to do, and does it well. Not bad at all for the price.
