Amazon has the Victorinox Fibrox 8" chef's knife for $21.79 and free prime/super saver shipping. Cooks Illustrated routinely loves this entire line of knives. I have a 10" chef from this line that I love dearly. Would wholeheartedly recommend these knives to anybody looking for a great bang-for-your-buck knife.

They are a bit light, especially if you're used to a really heavyweight forged knife.

Price is currently $24.79. (Isn't the usual price for this like ~$30?)
