I have a pair sitting right next to me. They aren't exactly audiophile grade, but for $15 who cares! They have held up great since I have gotten them more than 3 years ago and the sound is far above average for this price range.

@orangetang: You have better luck than I do. I try to take care of them, but the plug always seems to go after 6 months. I get the little $2 insurance for a year, so I can keep getting them replaced. They're great headphones, and I don't mind $4 a year to get a replacement twice a year.

I also have a pair right next to me.. Bought them four or five years ago. My family (5 bros/sis) used them while I was abroad for the past year and they're still working fine. Only complaint on my end is the long chord... Still a good pair of headphones. I'd take them over my iPod headphones any day

Thanks for the good reviews! I haven't received mine yet, but just got hosed on 2 pairs of Sennheisers for the same price from Newegg. BOTH stopped playing sound in the left ear within a week. Both Newegg and Sennheiser will fix or replace them, but why pay $12 to ship them back, when I can get these for about the same price?

I have a pair here at work. They sound okay... just use a media player with some equalization capabilities. The plastic earcups make a lot of noise if you're moving around and the overall volume is kinda low. On the positive side, they are good at blocking out the ambient noise around you and are quite comfortable.

@ralphblumberg: You have a point there, Ive had half of the cord wrapped up for most of the time Ive had them, But I cant complain. Better to have a longer cord than needed than one that is too short.
