Batman Arkham City for $10
So this is technically an in store deal but you can get a brand new copy of Batman: Arkham City for just 10 bucks. First, you have to join Best Buy's Gamersclub (which is free). Second, print this coupon: http://dealspl.us/bestbuy-coupons/396420p. Third, take it to best buy where the game is on sell for $30 until the 7th i believe. Fourth, buy the game, use the coupon, and smile for the $10 steal you just made. Enjoy! *Stores are selling out fast so act quick!
Worked for me today in Utah. Thanks, I've been wanting to pick this up since I finished Arkham Asylum a couple months ago.
@flipsidesouth: @tkuhoh: They had copies for both systems stacked at the register, not the gaming section acting like they were expecting a big crowd. Cashier refused saying couldn't because it was a "copy", asked if I could speak with the manager he then refused based on being a "copy" and he had no proof I had not already used my "real" coupon. Then tried the angle that I had not received my magazine which is why I resorted to an internet printout, said still couldn't accept. Then asked if he had any magazines available...again a no and at this point was getting annoyed and just pulled the nothing I can do and walked away. Great deal for those who it worked for, unfortunately I wasn't a lucky one.
I was actually still looking for mass effect when an employee saw this game (and rage)in my hands. He asked if I was signed up for the magazine deal. He wouldn't take the print out coupons but after I signed up for it he had a laminated copy of the coupons behind the counter. All in all still a good deal since I also picked up Final Fantasy 13-2.
Best deal on a game in a while...very good find. Used my reward certificates in addition to the $20 and basically got it for free. No hesitation at all from the cashier when using the coupon.
@bensawsome: Here's a thought...read the coupon before you use it.
And by all that crap, do you mean:
A) You clicked on the link and downloaded the coupon only to discover that you had wasted 5 seconds (followed by crying) or,
B) You clicked on the link and downloaded the coupon, got on your bike, weaved through traffic (up hill both ways) and went without food for 3 days so you could make it to your local Best Buy in time, only to discover that it is not valid for PC games??? (followed by crying)
I would expect B based on your description, but is probably A. Grow up.
yeah worked for me, went right after work snagged it no problem, they did not even blink at the coupn just scanned it and said have a nice day.
@nickdiesel: same here
@raider9924: That sucks man, the positive word of mouth the deal/post are generating far surpass the savings they are giving up.
@laziboie: Your post cracks me up. It's so true; the coupons says for PS3 and Xbox 360 in numerous places.
Just used it...worked...
slightly hesitant salesperson---they checked a printout they had at the counter because they said they were having "issues" with a couple coupons...but, this one was NOT on the print out so:
$29.99
Less $20.00
Less $5.00 (Best Buy reward points I had)
=$5 and some change after tax...
and, I have a $30 Best Buy gift card...so, I still have $24 and change after the purchase.
Woot woot!
Just picked up mine at lunch. No problems.
I just got mine here in Florida and the young sales kid said Holy S... $10. He ran back and pulled a 360 and a ps3 for himself leaving me waiting at the register. I guess hes trying out the copy machine with my coupon. Thanks for the great deal...
The coupon worked for me in Tampa, Florida! Thanks for the great deal. :)
Got it in IL at lunch today. AWESOME deal! Picked up Batman and Rage for $16 (and change). Took the print out no problem.
Just used the printed coupon at Union Square NY Best Buy and they took it. However I tried it first at 23rd and 6th and they wanted to have the actually magazine coupon.
10.84 w/ tax! They took the coupon Shreveport, LA. :D
You know, it's deals like this that make me love Woot and the people that use it. Great job. I never planned on owning this game anytime this year, but for this price I changed my mind about 4:45 this afternoon. Thanks again!
Maybe I'm a dork, but I think it's pretty cool seeing this utilized all over the country; thanks for the comments. WOOT is great!
Thanks to you I was able to get a game I held off on purchasing. I've been playing it this evening and I must say it's spectacular.
Worked for me in Everett, WA. Unbelievable deal.
They took my print-out, but they had to tie it with my account. I had had the free one, but could only activate it (in Pasadena, CA) if I had a paid GamerZone account. Since I was getting Rage at the same time (and were price matching COD Modern Warfare #1 for $10 with the Target ad), I thought, what the hell... still getting plenty of game.
4/3/12 Worked in Akron Ohio! The salesperson seemed excited to see the deal and walked me up to a manager to show her the coupons. She said they were OK. Worked ok at the register too. Picked up Arkham City for $10, Final Fantasy XIII-2 for $15, and Rage for $5!
I asked about the magazine (thinking I'd get the coupons from it to prevent any problems) and noone seemed to know anything about it....
Rage coupon worked too. Just got anarchy edition of rage for 5 bucks plus tax
$20 bucks for rage & ff xii-2? now I gotta make another trip to best buy tomorrow. Thanks!
@woocls: What was the magazine and what was the "magazine deal"?
@pndabear30: Not sure if it will help but mention it is from the March issue of Best Buy's Gamer Magazine.
@kamikazeken: Which Magazine is it?
@tkuhoh: Thanks
Went to the store today and the coupon was rejected. Associate said it had to come from the magazine ad and the magazine was sold out. Quite a disappointment.
I used the printed coupon on Friday (4/6). The store I went to (Allen Park, MI) was dead. Almost no one was shopping. I went over to the video game aisle, grabbed one. I even showed the printed coupon to one of the sales associates and asked him if he thought I would have a hard time using this. He looked it over and said "No, looks good to me."
Went up to the registers and only one was open and I was the only one in line. Used the coupon no problem plus Reward Zone money and the game was totally free! I just finished Askham Asylum today too so I'm ready to move on to the next game!
