This seems like a good deal, but doesn't most of the stuff that you get for a dollar with this deal (ie. the $10 for 10 deal) on the 99cent menu?

Yeah, pretty sure all those items in the main post are from the 99 cent menu except for the small fries and sodas.
If the drinks were either medium or large, id be in for the 10 for 10.
In a lot of areas the nuggets are $1.29, so I'd say the 10 for 10 is worth it.
Be aware, just in case...the Store Locator link says "Participating Local Stores are currently limited to the greater Mississippi area."
The Carlise Corp. referenced on the linked site is Memphis-based so this sounds like a local franchise promotion rather than a national one.

Not worth 99c to me.
Anyone else feel like they get screwed over every time you go to Wendy's? I go through the drive thru and it says $3 for the sandwich, $5 for the meal (or something like that), they ask what size. I choose medium. "You're total comes to $7.86, please pull ahead." Its the only place I've been to where the price is that far off. It's also the only place that doesn't put a receipt on the bag. The food is pretty good, but not when I have to break a ten for a medium meal.

Their new fries suck. Their original ones were awesome. I don't bother going there anymore because of that, plus as already stated- they somehow manage to end up charging a lot more than one expects. The "upgrade" fees for combos are insane.

I agree that the fries are not as good as the old ones, but the upgrade fees aren't that ridiculous.
I'm not sure where it is that you live that upgrading one size on the soda and fries makes it almost 3 dollars more after taxes is added. Since when I worked at Wendy's none of the upgrades where that much, unless you where ordering a baconator and getting an extra patty (double instead of single) and a medium instead of small.
The upcharge thing is worse at checkers. How is my $3 value meal special $5?

Point is...when you go to Checkers, make sure you say small combo, or youll pay a fortune for more food and drink than you wanted. A small drink there is a 20/22oz drink. Medium is 32oz.
