Because it often comes up - wanted to say I ordered two of these last time and:
1) No issues with shipping, was about 1 week.
2) Got 2 sets, didn't appear to be many duplicates. This was just flipping through, not a detailed inspection.

@springro: What types of comics are in the selection? I used to read massive amounts of children's comics when I was little and I'd like to get some for my eight year old, but I'd be perpetually on the couch if I were to bring home a more mature set of books.

I got 100 of these delivered over the weekend - less than a week after ordering them. Very nice selection, many from the early 90's or before, and some surprises, like a first edition of "Books of Magic" from 1997 in there, as well as the comic adaption of Francis Ford Coppola's "Dracula". Only 1 duplicate in the whole load, and there's enough in here to keep me happy (and discover new story lines I didn't know about :-) and my 6 year old step-son who's nuts for the Marvel heroes and villians. Finally he's got some comics with Galactus in :-) I'd happily order again, but I'm going to wait a little while so I can plough through what I've got already :-)

I ordered a set of 50. No dupes. If your child likes reading comics and doesn't get freaked out by the implied violence that goes on in some of the comics, then go right ahead. graveyard uses fedex smartpost which takes longer than parcel post. If you're close to where they ship out of (Sacramento), you'll get the comics sooner. Otherwise, give it about 10 days and you'll get them...it was nice that they sent me a shipping confirmation. Almost all the comics from the batch I got are not worth more than $2-$3 each.

ordered a set last time, only 1 duplicate in the 50, but every one of them was marvel, was kind of hoping for some DC, but can't complain, great variation... lots of fun to look through, and came with an old copy of Wizard magazine, which was pretty cool

I am in for a set. It states as a stipulation that they will mostly be Marvel. Either way, hopefully my son enjoys them.
