don't get this. i wasted my money. shouldve spent the extra $10 and got the model that actually has vents on the bottom. this one has no vents on the bottom which means if you put the lid on, the coals go out.

Why don't you drill a couple of holes into the bottom/side?

I have it. Its a great item. Very handy. Works great. It has a vent on the bottom side of the grill...I don't know what the previous user is talking about.
