Night Gallery was a 1970 TV sequel to The Twilight Zone and also featured Rod Serling. At the beginning of each episode, Serling lead us through a dark museum to a particular spooky piece (usually a creepy painting) to introduce the theme of the next horror story. If you are in the right age group, this is the show behind your most vivid childhood nightmares.
There are three seasons, and Amazon has had them priced at about $21 a box set for months. Suddenly the price has dropped, and if you are Xmas shopping for anyone born between 1952-1966, I guarantee they will appreciate getting "Night Gallery"
